Matchmaking changes with new Apex Legends update in April 2026

  • For Drop Zone ranked matches, you will see a ranking distribution chart for squads rather than individual players matching non-drop zone lobbies.

  • We are testing a 4-hour ranked map rotation schedule in East Asia for the remainder of the split. *We do not recommend changing servers as this may result in much higher pings.
