Depending on your progress Moonlight PeakYou may or may not have encountered death. Not the act of dying, but the literal figure of Death, who walks around in a Hawaiian shirt like the Grim Reaper while on vacation.
If so, you've probably noticed floating skulls flying everywhere you go. That flying skull is a chunk of soul that Death asks you to capture. There are 100 of them in total, and if you take the time to capture them all, you'll be rewarded for all your wasted time and energy.
where to find death
As previously mentioned, for a Soul Chunk to appear, you must first: Meet Death in the Graveyard of Misty Shores. Unfortunately, when you first start the game, the path to Misty Shores is blocked by a spell cast by Fiona.
To get to Misty Shores, here's what you need to do: Clear your path and progress through the main story quests until you complete the missing crest quest for Brook.. Both of these conditions must be met. If you've already had a dinner party at the Ambrosia mansion but haven't seen Death yet, you may be experiencing a bug.
Once you've done both of these, Go to Misty Shores and you'll be dead in the next day or two.. If you do your best every day, this will most likely happen between the 10th and 15th days, and you can't miss it as a cutscene will automatically occur when you enter the area.
Death only introduces himself on the first day, but he must return to Misty Shores the next day to explain the Soul Blob and provide him with a net to catch it.. This is the same net used to catch critters in the game. Once you have that, you are ready to capture that soul nugget.
Even if you miss, swinging the net consumes energy.. So be careful chasing soul chunks and animals. Because they will run away from you. It seems like the easiest way to not waste a swing is to force them into a place they can't escape.
every soul nugget
Unlike critters or fish Soul Blob is not limited to a specific time or place.. Instead, Each time you enter a new area, it is randomized.. in other words, Soul Blob does not repeat. So when you enter a new area, only the missing items will be created.
It's usually easier to catch it while doing something else than to intentionally look for it, but if you want to go Soul Blob hunting, who am I to stop you?
Below is a list of all Soul Blobs in the game.

Reward for collecting all soul drops
If you collect a certain number of Soul Blobs, Death will appear outside your house at the start of the day and offer you a reward. With an antique clock. This will happen three times, and each time you receive the same gift, you can use the antique clock to make the day longer or shorter.
You don't have to have an antique clock for the effect to occur. To use the clock, open Settings and you will now see an option to adjust the number of minutes per day.. Each visit from Death unlocks new options for this setting.
