Pokemon GO To celebrate Global GO Fest 2026, there are new codes available for players that give away some items and resources for free. Pokemon GO This year's July is shaping up to be a huge month, with the game's 10th anniversary, a variety of events, and new, exclusive Pokemon never seen before. After the global GO Fest celebration on July 10 backfired due to an exclusive Mewtwo being available to invited attendees only, the game is giving fans a slew of new freebies today and tomorrow, July 12.
Pokemon GO's Global GO Fest 2026 will give away Mega Mewtwo You can then evolve your animal with Mega Energy earned through the raid itself, or by completing the Genetic Mastery time-limited research, which is free to everyone until July 12th at 7pm local time, and there are branching paths to either Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. But that's not all, there are many more free items that players can get.
Pokemon GO has more Mewtwo freebies
Using the new promo code, players can get 100 Link Charges and 15 Pokeballs. Pokemon GOIt's completely free. To receive a reward, players must ensure that there is enough space and that the link fee has not exceeded the maximum. In this case, the game will display the message “This gift card code or promo code is invalid or not eligible for the promotion.” At the moment there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on who is eligible to receive the code, but you will be prompted once the link has been charged in full. Also, this is the first Go Fest promo code, there will be another one tomorrow.

Fans will need to complete the A Thunderous Discovery Special Research quest before the event ends on July 12th at 7pm local time. This is because the quest has no expiration date and can be completed at any time to get free Zeraora. As for the code, it's unclear if or when it will expire, but in the meantime, players can use it for free. After tomorrow, there should be another code that gives the same rewards – 100 Link Charges and 15 Pokeballs – for players to use along the way (and possibly after). In addition to Global GoFest, various events will be held this month. Pokemon GOTo commemorate the 10th anniversary, a super rare Gimmigul with 10 written on the back has been added, and can only be obtained until the end of July. Likewise, there will be a Legendary Pokémon event this month, as well as an event dedicated to Professor Willow featuring a unique Pikachu dressed like the character.
