The widgets that are displayed can be turned on or off to show only the widgets you want. Three of them should always be turned onIf you want to prioritize the background over widgets, turn on these three:
- Battery life
- trophy
- store
These three appear as small widgets on the left side of the screen, but they leave most of the screen open, showing the background.
Welcome to How to Get Different Backgrounds on PlayStation
The easiest and simplest way to get game background pictures is: Take your own screenshot using the screenshot option in every game. The third option that opens from the background menu is the Media Gallery, where you can select a photo you have taken as the background. This option is not only the easiest, but also guarantees the best photo quality.
You can also navigate using screenshots. Go to the PlayStation Store and take a screenshot of the game's promotional photo to use as a background. This ensures that you always get high quality photos.
You can find the photos on your PC and download them to a USB before connecting it to your PlayStation. Once connected, you will have other options available in the Media Gallery app. Open a photo on your USB and take a screenshot to use as your background. However, this method often results in low-quality photos unless you retrieve suitable photos from online on your PC.
