Pokemon Shows Official Unreleased Delibird Evolution in Gen 4 Documentary
“Pokemon Diamond and Pearl: Behind the Scenes DVD — All Produced” The documentary recently surfaced online, including numerous released beta designs and photos of unreleased Pokémon. The DVD was released earlier this year when it was listed for auction. Recently, a collector named Neos was able to obtain a copy of the DVD, and its contents were shared online. Among the many Pokémon featured in the documentary is a new version of Delibird, this time not the same as the futuristic Iron Bundle, but a design that furthers Delibird's Christmas theme by making the Pokémon look like a new version of Santa Claus.

The unreleased Delivered Evolution has been shared on lewtwo.net as a beta sketch, but has not yet been released. The documentary includes many early sketches of the Pokémon that were eventually released. Pokemon Scarlet and VioletBaxcalibur and Tandemaus, Pokemon Sun and MoonSandygast, etc. Fans can also see starters, evolutions, and early designs of popular Gen 4 Pokemon like Dialga, Palkia, and even Arceus. Although this iteration was never made, it certainly shaped the Pokémon that fans know today.

It seems like this design may come out again in the 10th generation. Pocopia Knowledge can pass anything. After all, many of Gen 4's beta designs were later introduced into the franchise, so it would make sense for the exaggerated yellow Shellos and Gastrodon to follow suit.
A yet-to-be-released Delibird evolved version could also join the mix, but this is the first time it's been mentioned and shown to the world.
