This year, some new characters became major antagonists, and characters players might have forgotten experienced a rebirth that reminded them of what made them antiheroes in the first place. Fans debate Mary's origins, speculating that she may be simply a mirage, a demon, or a succubus with the purpose of tormenting James and keeping him in a purgatory-like state.

Nebulex – Astrobot

Nebulax is the main antagonist of Astro Bot. He steals the headset and destroys the hero's spaceship, which scatters ASTRO's friends across the galaxy and sets off his quest. There are several turns as the story progresses, but Nebulax remains elusive.

To prevent the protagonist from completing his mission, Nebulax sends an army of robot soldiers after him. Makes Nebulax a worthy opponent that can avoid defeat on multiple occasions.

Jane Harrow – Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Hades 2 sees Chronos, a major giant in Greek mythology, subdue the Underworld and place it under his control while imprisoning Hades, Persephone, and Zagreus.
