The best weapons to use in Elliot's Adventures: Millennium Tales

All of the weapons in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales allow for balanced play, and none are without their strengths. However, the seven weapon types have a clear hierarchy based on consistency, damage output, ease of use, and how much each weapon contributes to the game's more difficult content.

Some shine as reliable mainstays. Others are best when used as supplements to a stronger base. Whether you're building a loadout from scratch or deciding where to focus your Gems investment, knowing how each weapon is constructed is worth keeping in mind.

bomb

Elliot fights enemies with bombs in the desert in The Adventure of Elliot the Millenium Tailes.

The bomb is undoubtedly powerful. You can wipe out hordes of enemies and defeat powerful bosses. However, due to supply issues that follow the bomb throughout the game, it does not transition to primary weapon status. Even though Kill & Take replenishes your inventory from defeated enemies, using a finite resource as your primary source of damage creates constant supply instability.

Elliot's Adventure: Millennium Tales – Best Bomb Stone Build

Bombs are dangerous weapons to use in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, but there is a magic stone that makes them deadly.

At their best, bombs fill gaps in enemy defenses that faster, more consistent weapons can't reach, while area magicstones like Agrandize and Brimstone add useful passive effects in a secondary role. However, there are still limits to what bombs can achieve in normal combat.

6

boomerang

In The Adventures of Elliot The Millennium Tales, Elliot is orbited by two giant boomerangs.

Boomerang has many features. A unique hit count mechanic that rewards constant air time, true crowd control through stuns, and the entertaining sight of two large boomerangs circling around Elliot simultaneously along with extra throws and satellite equips. The problem is consistency.

Stun-based strategies rely on proc chance rather than guaranteed results, making them unreliable in the most critical moments, while hit count builds are a more solid foundation, but require a specific Gems investment before they can actually be performed. Boomerang rewards dedication and punishes poor action. In other words, it's worth making well, but it doesn't measure up to the reliability of the weapon on top of it.

5

chain and sickle

In The Adventures of Elliot The Millennium Tales, Elliot uses his chain weapon to create a fireball.

Chain and Sickle offer some truly unique features. A 360-degree normal attack attacks all enemies in the surrounding area, and a charge attack is available that pulls the target towards Elliot instead of pushing it away. Both create interesting tactical possibilities, especially against groups. The status effect build (stacking Freeze and Stun along with the affected potencies) allows you to clear a room efficiently.

It sits in the middle of the pack, as its mid-range sweet spot for regular attacks requires spatial awareness that more forgiving weapons lack, and its toolkit is slightly less versatile in single-target boss fights than higher-ranked weapons.

4

window

Elliot spears the big owl boss in The Adventures of Elliot The Millennium Tales.

The spear's greatest asset is its charge attack, which when crafted properly provides some of the highest damage numbers in the game. In particular, Three-Headed Dragon and Magic Spear turn it into a multiple powerhouse with good positioning. Its range is great for maintaining a safe distance, and the Weapon Switch Magic Stone provides strong support value when used with off-hand weapons like a sword or hammer.

What hinders this is that builds with a lot of charges are inherently slow, and in fast, hectic combat where more agile weapons can breathe, spears can feel cumbersome. This is a top level boss killer that earns ranks with patience.

3

curtsey

The Adventures of Elliot In The Millennium Tales, Elliot is firing a charged bow attack at an enemy in a snowy area.

The bow is one of the best situational weapons in the game, excelling against bosses that allow you to keep your distance and deliver ranged damage that other weapons can't replicate. The unusual nature of an optimal build that switches heavily between early and late game, from conserving arrows to maximizing raw output, means it rewards interest and adaptation rather than a set-it-and-forget-it approach.

Fire Shot and Explosives together make burning enemies truly dangerous to be around, and Final Shot's guaranteed critical hit during low arrow counts turns a potential weakness into a moment of power. Arrow supply is one constant caveat, even if conservation mostly resolves it by the endgame.

2

hammer

In The Adventures of Elliot The Millennium Tales, Elliot is swinging his hammer and charging around.

If your hammer is crafted correctly, it can inflict some of the most brutal damage in the game. Body & Soul's guaranteed critical hits on charged attacks, combined with charge time down and shockwave-generating Tremors, turn fully charged attacks into weapons of mass destruction against bosses and optional challenges.

The crowd control options Wide Impact, Blowback, and Knockout are also very powerful against groups of enemies.

Stopping at the top is a necessary task. The best magic stones are expensive, closely complementary, require real thought before a build is complete, and their slow charge cycle can expose Elliot to faster encounters.

1

knife

In The Adventures of Elliot the Millenium Tales, in the marshes, Elliot is fighting a monster with a sword.

The sword tops the rankings for the same reason it remains a recommended weapon in the default slot throughout the game. This is simply the most consistently reliable option in The Millennium Tales.

Quick attacks and a lunge-dash rhythm allow Elliot to deal damage and retreat to safety in almost any encounter, while counterattacks create natural critical strike opportunities, and finisher magic stones provide him with a powerful role against low-health bosses. It doesn't require a huge investment to perform well, it's not situational, and it becomes the default no matter what you pair it with. The flashiest? no. Is it the best? Comfortably.
