The 6 Most Disappointing Konoha 11 Members, Ranked

The Konoha 11 are a group of powerful ninja. Naruto's A generation made up of Shinobi from various teams. Excluding Sasuke, this group consisted of Team 7, Team 8, Team 10, and of course Team Guy. These ninjas were all branded as the future of Konoha, and they certainly had tremendous talent.

While a significant number of Konoha 11 lived up to fans' expectations and took things to the next level, there were others who, for one reason or another, were disappointed and were decidedly uninteresting to watch throughout the story.

Inuzuka Kiba

Inuzuka Kiba The most dominant Konoha 11 member Naruto

  • Konoha Team: 8 teams

  • Team Leader: Yuuhi Kurenai

  • Kekkei Genkai: None

  • Ninja rank: Chunin

Kiba of the Inuzuka clan is one of the most dominant characters in all of Naruto. Kiba was a member of Team 8 and was certainly a very interesting character at the beginning of the series. He also fought Naruto Uzumaki in the Chunin Exams and definitely passed his test.

In fact, he also played a big role in the Sasuke Retrieval arc. However, his importance in the story has diminished since then. It would be no exaggeration to say that by the time of the Fourth Ninja War, it had become a mere joke and had become irrelevant. As a member of the Konoha 11, he's definitely screwed, and it's truly unfortunate that in the Boruto era he's largely irrelevant and not even mentioned.

Aburame Shino

Shino Aburame The most overwhelming Konoha 11 member Naruto
The strongest undefeated character in animation

  • Konoha Team: 8 teams

  • Team Leader: Yuuhi Kurenai

  • Kekkei Genkai: None

  • Ninja Rank: Jonin

Shino was a very underrated character in Part 1. naruto. Although he rarely got the Flower, he was always the most calm person in the Konoha 11, keeping his true powers to himself. He was shown fighting very impressively in the Chunin Exams, and more importantly, he also fought Kankuro later in the story.

Shino was largely neglected as a character despite having small moments here and there during the war, and it was pretty clear to see that the author didn't care much about her. This makes him one of the most dominant Konoha 11 ninja. During the Boruto era, Shino is officially considered a ninja academy instructor, but unlike Iruka, he is considerably stronger. If the author focused properly, we would all appreciate his character much more.

Hyuga Hinata

Hinata the most dominant Konoha 11 member Naruto

  • Konoha Team: 8 teams

  • Team Leader: Yuuhi Kurenai

  • Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan

  • Ninja rank: Chunin

Hinata was definitely treated better than Kiba, but she was still a neglected character. Her character started off incredibly well when she fought Neji in the Chunin Exams arc using Naruto as her only inspiration. She did her best to not only fight her cousin, but also prove to the world that she was a capable warrior at the same time.

Hinata did surprisingly well in her fight despite losing. However, her role in the story is considerably reduced after that. She played an important role in Pain's Arc, but was only used to unleash Naruto Uzumaki's true power. During the war, she didn't do much, and eventually, despite all her talents, she became a housewife and gave up her ninja duties. In Boruto, she has little to do with it and is eventually sealed away by Kawaki, leaving her completely excluded from the plot. As a Konoha 11 member, Hinata was clearly overpowered and squandered a lot of her potential as a ninja.

Boruto's new jonin replaced Naruto as Konoha's number one ninja.

Naruto received a nerf and in his weakened state, he is far from Konoha's strongest ninja.

3

rock lee

Rock Lee is looking at the viewer with a faint smile.

  • Team Konoha: Team Guy

  • Team Leader: Might Guy

  • Kekkei Genkai: None

  • Ninja Rank: Jonin

Rock Lee was a fan favorite early on in the story. His story arc was compelling and moved fans because many people could relate to him. The fight against Gaara still reverberates through history. But this is all this character has done for himself.

Rock Lee was largely ignored in the second part of Naruto, and his story arc remained largely the same. All fans were extremely disappointed to see how he was treated in the war. Even though he's strong and still has a very interesting story, he can't help but be considered the overpowering ninja of Konoha 11 in the grand scheme of things.

2

Akimichi Choji

Naruto, the most dominant Konoha Choji 11 member

  • Konoha Team: 10 teams

  • Team Leader: Asuma Sarutobi

  • Kekkei Genkai: None

  • Ninja rank: Chunin

Choji wasn't the most interesting character in Naruto and fans didn't really care about him. But despite this, he received quite a bit of attention from Masashi Kishimoto early on in the story. But despite this, he was largely overpowered and broken.

In the Sasuke Retrieval mission we had a very interesting fight centered around him. However, this was the last time we saw him in action for a long time. He had moments here and there in the war, but was largely irrelevant and became more boring as the plot continued. Kishimoto doesn't seem to have put much effort into his character, making him an underwhelming ninja, so fans don't seem to care enough.

1

Tenten

Tenten, the most dominant Konoha 11 member, Naruto

  • Team Konoha: Team Guy

  • Team Leader: Might Guy

  • Kekkei Genkai: None

  • Ninja Rank: Jonin

To put it very simply, the biggest flop in all of Konoha 11 was Tenten. She was introduced as a member of Team Guy, and given that this team had a year more experience than the others, fans had high expectations for them. Neji certainly lived up to those expectations. But Tenten wasn't like that. This was a very confusing decision because the author didn't know how to write female characters properly.

What made this character even more creepy was that he had his own goals from the beginning. She wanted to become a powerful ninja like Tsunade. However, the two were not even seen interacting throughout the entire series. Tenten has mastered quite a few weapons, but that's all her character needs. In fact, even her teacher, Guy, was not paying attention to her at all and was only focusing on Lee. She failed her superiors as a ninja, which in turn led to her failure as a member of the Konoha 11. However, she still rose to a high rank during Boruto's time, earning the rank of Jonin. Unfortunately, she still can't focus on the story, which is definitely unfortunate.

All episodes of the Naruto series are available to stream on Crunchyroll.
