There are a few obvious choices, but my favorite suggestion so far is the one at the end of the film where a panicked cat crawls out of a pile of rubble and desperately tries to find a lost frog.

Many fans have been joking about characters like Pikachu and Solid Snake seemingly inviting Sonic into the Super Smash Bros. initiative. Or, my second favorite suggestion after Big and Froggy, is the one where Mario goes out of a portal to invite Sonic to the Olympics. As for the more likely choices, Amy feels like the obvious choice, but there's a chance she'll be introduced during the movie, like Knuckles. Other options include Silver, Blaze, Rouge, or perhaps Metal Sonic. Dr. Because the Robotnik device has technically been a part of the Sonic series longer than anyone other than Sonic and Tails.
