Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have spotted a rat lurking in old screenshots focused on Lucia, reigniting theories that Lucia will eventually betray Jason.
Considering that almost every Rockstar game has had some kind of betrayal or big twist, it's no surprise that fans have started to expect unexpected outcomes from the story. GTA 6 is no stranger to this, as theories have been circulating since the first trailer that either Lucia or Jason will betray each other.
Funny enough, it started off with everyone thinking Jason was some kind of undercover cop because of the bodycam footage and one line in trailer 2. But things quickly changed as Lucia's continued gun presence shifted the blame onto her. It's happened again, thanks to the rat lurking in the background of the screenshot.

Or decide if GTA fans are reading too much into things.
You might think that all the new screenshots of GTA 6 that we received with the recent launch of pre-orders would be what will get the most attention from GTA fans, but that's not the case. On Twitter, GTA6Alerts pointed out an interesting detail in a screenshot of Lucia released after Trailer 2 last year. Yes, I know it's been a solid year since the last trailer came out.
The screenshot in question shows Lucia sitting on her bike on the streets of Vice City. GTA6Alerts points out that there is actually a rat lurking on the rooftop above Lucia, something I hadn't noticed before despite seeing this image hundreds of times. But this isn't just a cool detail, as GTA6Alerts points out, “Rockstar Games loves to foreshadow the future.”
Of course, this is a nod to the theory that it will be Lucia who betrays Jason in GTA 6's story. Like I said, there's no real evidence that will happen, but Rockstar fans will trained I expect some kind of upset. It's really a small 'evidence' in the grand scheme of things, but it's fun to speculate while we all patiently wait for more details about the game's plot.
Of course, it's worth pointing out how many times GTA fans have looked at signs in screenshots and gotten the wrong results. This same image was also used as a theory for Trailer 3, which never happened. Combine this with the moon theory, Jason's watch, and the bullet hole braille, and I think we already have the answer as to whether this is a clue or just a detail.

Sony is right. Grand Theft Auto 6 is probably best played on PlayStation.
