PS5 Hardware Delay Could Change Release Plans for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Fans

A year later, Sony has provided new details about FlexStrike, confirming pricing and pre-order dates. It was originally scheduled to be released on the same day, August 6th. Marvel Token: Battle of the SoulFlexStrike features a rechargeable battery that can utilize wired and wireless connections via PlayStation Link. Additionally, it comes with three different restrictor gates that can be replaced without tools, a built-in storage compartment, and a sling carrying case.

FlexStrike's release date was clearly intentional, but those plans have now changed. In a new update to the original pre-order blog post, Sony confirmed that the Fight Stick has been “delayed indefinitely” due to unexpected production delays. Unfortunately, Sony doesn't go into more detail about what's going on, but rather spends extra time adding finishing touches to the product so they can continue to provide players with the best possible experience. As of now there is no new release date for the fight stick. Marvel Token Fans who were planning to get both on August 6 will now have to make alternative plans.

The FlexStrike delay isn't the only obstacle some fans may be facing at the moment. Neither Sony nor Arc System Works have said anything officially, but fans have spotted a PSN requirement. Basically, this requirement means that access to your game from 132 countries will be effectively blocked, and users in those regions will see an error message when they try to access the game's store page.
