This combo uses the synergy effect between the health pool of Gen 9 Pokemon, the venoshock ability and the effect of Poison Barb. If you use Venoshock, the Paldean Clodsire EX will cause additional damage when your opponent is addicted. Poison Barb, on the other hand, reads the opponent's active Pokemon when suffering. The Paldean Clodsire EX has 160 horsepower, which can activate the effect of poison several times and increase the addiction damage for your opponent's card.
