Monster Hunter has been an important series since the PS2. CAPCOM Behemoth is widely loved by fans, and MONSTER HUNTER WORLD in 2018 is still a powerful fanbase, and since its launch in early February this year, MONSTER HUNTER WILDS.
But in 2016, we got our first position in the MONSTER HUNTER Stories series. This 3DS title adopted a more colorful and friendly art style, and these monsters wanted to hug you without tearing the second opportunity. The trailer, especially the trailer, breathe with the wild and tears of the kingdom. Starting with a mysterious basement, it feels eerie. Unlike the tears of the public trailer of the kingdom, it feels eerie because it moves to the text screen where the particles float. Then we see that the characters look up to the edge of the cliff before the protagonist jumps quickly and demands La Laalos to catch him. We even bring the skyward sword to the mix.
This means that MONSTER HUNTER Stories 3 does not copy Zelda, but instead learns from the success of the series and consequently evolves its own size. The art style is different from the rest of the MONSTER HUNTER series, but every time we talk, the ratio has changed and the character has grown. Appropriate, this game looks a much darker tone with an amazing cut scene on the trailer.
This series gives more freedom as it disappears alone, and now it seems to be expanding. In other words, we hope that we can call Latal Ross and jump over things before taking the sky with infinite freedom. In this case, it may be weak to occupy the throne of the largest game of Nintendo Switch 2 next year.
This can be a new direction for Monster Hunter
It helps not only switch 2 but also the entire series. MONSTER HUNTER WILDS struggled to find a foothold with the enormous success of the previous Mainline item Monster Hunter World. We received a great success for the number of sales, but it began to fall dramatically after its launch. We also reported that eight different CAPCOM games were actually sold more than wild in the last quarter.
With this in mind, I think Monster Hunter Stories 3 can be a powerful turning point of the franchise. Through the dark tone and the more easy -to -learn multiple master main line game, I will not be surprised to see the story 3 more successful than Wilds.
This does not mean that CAPCOM should give up the main line game. There was always a monster hunter. It is clear that MONSTER HUNTER has much more abilities than that. Many wild players soon returned to the world because they were one of the best platforms so far to Monster Hunter. CAPCOM takes time to learn from the direction of wild and games, and you have to do a lot of power behind the story.
