leaderboard

  • Reset all rival leaderboards due to unrealistic entries (Bug 4443235)

These unrealistic items were obtained by exploiting glitches or using drag tires before the latest physics balance changes introduced on June 15th.

We have therefore decided to completely reset the affected leaderboards and will remove these exploits from the game as soon as they are patched.

We understand this will be disappointing for players with legitimate lap times. However, we chose this approach to ensure everyone has a clean sheet to move forward. Regardless of leaderboard removal, clean times posted to earn Rivals' relevant Collection Journal items will not be lost and will remain unlocked.

Our team is also working on fixing a few glitches that could be used to pollute PR stunt leaderboards with unrealistic scores, and while we don't have a timeline yet, we expect to be able to remove those leaderboards entirely once the fixes go live.

Update on storage issue – ongoing investigation

We are continuing to work on improvements across all platforms to alleviate save file loss issues affecting some players of Forza Horizon 6.

The XBOX team has released an update for XBOX Series X|S and PC to help improve these issues. The most recent date is July 2nd, so make sure your device is up to date.

If you experience data loss with this update, you will see a crash dialog the next time you load the game. To restore your progress, select the cloud save option, which restores the most recently saved version.
