How to get inside the monastery ruins in Gothic 1 Remake
You can start by meeting Gorn at the top right of the star icon on the map. It is marked with a red circle on the map above.. He is standing on the edge of a stone bridge. Talk to him and he will lead you to the cave.
Go inside the room inside the cave and loot everything you can. But more importantly, Open the chest in the corner of the room and obtain the scroll titled “Transform into Meat Bug.”. This is your entrance ticket to the monastery.
The Gorn will follow you around, so it's best to let him join the fight. When enemies spot you, run behind the Gorn. Then he will be strong enough to deal with hostile creatures for you.
Now leave the cave and take the right path to the top of the mountain.. You need to go back to where you met Gorn and cross the bridge to the monastery. Watch out for Snappers on the other side!
Instead of trying to open a locked iron door, Look to your left, there's a bunch of pink flowers on the wall. If you go there, you will find numerous meat bugs hiding in the ground. Now it's time to use the “Transform into Meatbug” scroll..

When you reach the upper level of the wall, turn right and go straight until you reach the cave entrance.. Enter the cave and take the left path. You'll fight several Snappers before meeting the boss, Shadow Beast.
How to Defeat the Shadow Beast in Gothic 1 Remake
The first thing you'll notice about the Shadow Feast is that it can follow you around pretty quickly. So jumping around is not an option here. One-handed weapons deal much less damage, but can still land two hits instead of just one. Ranged weapons are not recommended at allThis is because the Shadow Beast is too agile to aim and ready a bow or crossbow.
There is a good one-handed sword on the battlefield, and it is the sword of death.. If you're fast enough, you can pick it up while the Shadow Beast is chasing you, but it's risky since the sword is at a dead end and is nearly impossible to equip during combat.
Even if you don't get the Death Sword early, be sure to get the weapon after the shadow beast dies.
How to get focus stones in gothic 1 remake monastery ruins
As soon as the Shadow Beast is defeated, Head towards the path behind it that leads outside.. You will find a focus stone covered in magic. Interact with it to grab the stone.

As you exit the gate, Gorn will start talking to you and tell you about the Focus Stone. After the conversation, run behind him and let Gorn deal with the troll. When the youth troll's health gets low, it will run away.. At that point, you can either chase the monster or use ranged shots to kill it and loot what it has to offer.
