Striker AR

The Striker AR is the assault rifle featured in Springfield Island. It's not the best, but it's not the worst either. This weapon is always worth picking up if you're short on assault rifles because it can get the job done. Just be aware that there is a lot of recoil when you pull the trigger. Try a more controlled explosion to dampen recoil and hit targets further away than what's actually directly in front of you. This will allow you to see the damage benefits of a Striker AR and a patient trigger finger. However, at close range the Striker AR can come in clutch due to its fast rate of fire and decent damage output.

The Ranger Shotgun is back. It's as good as it was the day it left full loot rotation. The Ranger Shotgun is an excellent single-shot rifle capable of dealing absurdly high damage at close range. Players can use the Ranger Shotgun to almost kill an enemy with a single shot if they are accurate enough to hit an enemy in the head, then switch to the SMG to finish off the enemy without having to reload the shotgun. The Ranger Shotgun has a higher skill cap. A single bullet means you have to be accurate, and it's best used from cover. That way you can peek, shoot, maintain cover or push forward with an attack. This shotgun may not suit everyone's play style, but its fast ability to deal massive damage will make it something your enemies will have to fear.
Thunder Shotgun
A decent shotgun that can fire two rounds at once.

The Thunder Shotgun has a very slow rate of fire, but the fact that it fires two shots at once means that its damage is quite high. Thanks to its fast reload and the fact that it can load two bullets at a time, players will have an effective shotgun to help push back hordes of enemies on Springfield Island. The Thunder Shotgun can deal a lot of damage, but due to its slow rate of fire and lack of ammo for its magazine size, it is best to use it once, then swap to a weapon with a faster rate of fire, and then swap again to effectively kill the enemy team. This is a dependable shotgun that will get the job done as long as you know the rate of fire.

The best shotgun in the Fortnite Simpsons season is the tactical shotgun, a classic that returns from the OG Chapter 1. This shotgun has been in and out of the loot pool since Fortnite launched, and it's always nice to see it coming back. Not only does it have the largest magazine size, but it also has excellent bullet spread ability to attack multiple targets and bodies at close range, and boasts excellent firing speed and stable damage. Players can harass their opponents by continuously firing their tactical shotgun. The tactical shotgun will melt if you dare get too close.

The Suppressed Rifle is currently the best assault rifle in Fortnite x Simpsons, and there are a few reasons why. First, the silencer makes the shot a little quieter, but that's not the real kicker. The real bonus of this weapon comes from the fact that it has high damage, decent rate of fire, 30 rounds per magazine, and easy-to-maintain recoil. This means players have an assault rifle that's easy to manage, and bloom doesn't prevent accurate shots from hitting the target, especially when firing in controlled bursts.
Compact SMG
Rapid-fire SMG with little to no recoil

The highest DPS weapon in the Simpsons season of Fortnite has to be the Compact SMG. Compact SMG offers great damage and a much higher rate of fire. Even the recoil feels manageable, but the damage reduction is pretty severe. That said, this weapon is best used at close range to compete directly with the most powerful shotguns. Shotguns can be vicious up close, but the Compact SMG's incredibly fast rate of fire allows it to tear through them with ease, especially with consistent headshots. The Compact SMG is by far the best SMG of the season and its damage scaling is as high as many bullets featured in the magazine, but keep in mind how quickly the light bullets run out!
Mr. Blasty
Snunnose revolver with no damage reduction for close and long range attacks

The best gun of the Simpsons Fortnite season is Mr. It's Blasty. Homer's punchy sidearm deals incredibly high damage whether it's a body shot or a headshot, and even better, the recoil is easy to manage and there's no damage falloff. This means players can use this rifle as a tiny sniper rifle to hit distant targets, and the lack of recoil and smear means it will almost always hit, not to mention the high rate of fire. The player is Mr. You can spam Blasty as a utility weapon. It can be a great replacement for a shotgun to a pistol, or as a weapon used in place of an assault rifle due to its high damage and range capabilities.
