challenge Diablo 4 In Season 13, with the release of Lords of Hatred, the maximum Torment difficulty increased dramatically, raising it to 12. in result, Diablo 4 Players will only want to invest in absolute S-Tier builds if they want to be able to take on the threats that Torment 12 presents. Fortunately, there is an easy build in Torment 12 that can easily destroy even Uber Mephisto, a class that has been waiting for a spectacular return for some time.

Lord of Hatred's skill tree rework has shifted the balance of power. Diablo 4's class has pushed previously low-tier classes and builds to the top of the meta while also knocking classes that were some of the best builds in the game down the rankings. In particular, Paladins have been heavily nerfed. Diablo 4 Season 13 features the classic Aura Paladin, creating a shell of his former self. But the barbarian opened fire. Diablo 4's meta ladder is all about becoming the true star of the season, giving players the best chance of surviving Torment 12 with the trusty old Whirlwind Barbarian.

Whirlwind Barbarian is a classic. diablo Known for its “turn to win” gameplay, this archetype allows players to rotate their barbarian around the map, taking out hordes of enemies, without having to worry too much about skill cycling. This type of build has historically been ideal for fairly low-risk players. Diablo 4 I experienced it, but the change was Diablo 4The addition of the skill tree and talisman mechanic is what really makes this build shine. The best thing about this build is that it doesn't require too many mythics to perform well at the higher Torment tiers, so players can get started with this build fairly quickly.

Torment Tier 12 Cyclone The ultimate skill for barbarians.

  • whirlwind

  • rallying cry

  • shout of challenge

  • war cry

  • iron skin

  • Call of the Ancients

Whirlwind will definitely be a key Barbarian skill used in this build. Because Whirlwind will be the main source of damage and mobility for the class. The upgrade allows Whirlwind to deal 40% more damage at an increased rage cost. This makes the build very resource-heavy, but it also helps expand the damage the barbarian can inflict while spinning with Whirlwind.

All three of the Barbarian's Shout skills are useful in this build. In particular, Rallying Shout can be used to increase the Barbarian's movement speed, allowing him to move around the battlefield more quickly. Rallying Cry and Challenging Shout are great for buffing your Barbarian to deal extra damage to tougher enemies like elite and rare bosses.

Iron Skin is already a solid defensive skill that helps the barbarian's survivability when using Maelstrom. However, if you upgrade to the Juggernaut variant, you also gain additional utility granting Barbarian Unstoppable and Barrier creation. Call of the Ancients is the ultimate skill of choice for this build, but it is not the primary source of damage and is primarily used as a way to further power up the Barbarian through attack speed and damage bonus upgrades.

  • Tybalt's Will

  • Lucion's Crown

  • Ramaladni's masterpiece

  • Aspects of Anger Management

  • Aspects of Channeling

This build has four main uniques that all Whirlwind Barbarians want: Gohr's Devastating Grips, Tibault's Will, Crown of Lucion, and Ramaladni's Magnum Opus. Gore's Devastating Grasp is the most important in this build as it increases the damage of Maelstrom and pulls enemies in every 2 seconds. Tibault's commitment is very important as it will help the Fury generation keep Whirlwind going. Using Iron Skin to grant Barbarian Unstoppable is an ideal way to activate Tibault's Will's unique effect.

“The young apprentices think it's foolish to wear thick plate in the swamps. They don't understand that our armor is our heritage, and that without it we are nothing.” – Crusader Pembroke

Tibault's Will is useful in conjunction with Ramaladni's Magnum Opus. This increases the damage of Barbarian's Skills for each point of Fury the player has, but continually consumes Fury. Crown of Lucion works similarly, increasing the power of skills at the cost of resources, but also increasing the cost of those resources as a result. This makes Fury creation a key part of keeping this build performing at its best.

Players can swap the Crown of Lushion for the Mythic Heir of Doom, transferring the unique effects of the Crown of Lushion to the talisman via a unique talisman.

The legendary aspects of Anger Management and the legendary aspects of Channeling are also great ways to increase the damage output of your Whirlwind Barbarian. Anger Management grants the Barbarian increased damage and Berserk when his base resources are above 50, but reduces resource generation costs by 3. Channeling increases the damage of skills while channeled. This means that Whirlwind gets a nice boost from this aspect.

What makes Whirlwind Barbarian the best Diablo 4 build of Season 13?

Whirlwind Barbarians have historically excelled at stacking damage modifiers on top of damage modifiers to create crazy damage scaling curves. Where this build has struggled in the past is resource generation, which takes a hit from all of these sources of damage increase. However, the addition of amulets and set bonuses has actually been Whirlwind Barbarians' saving grace, mitigating a lot of these resource losses and catapulting them to the top of the Season 13 meta.
