Astro Bot now has official merchandise range on Insert Coin.

Many studios have partnered with Insert Coin to provide fans with official merchandise from their games. Today is a bigger day than usual for Insert Coin as it marks the return of a very special PlayStation mascot, Astro Bot, to stores. Insert Coin has brand new official Astro Bot merchandise, all available now.

Insert Coin's new Astro Bot collection brings five items to stores, including two t-shirts, a hoodie, a varsity jacket, and a pair of Astro Bot socks. This range is designed to celebrate the continued success of Astro's first non-VR prequel, as well as to commemorate PlayStation's 30th anniversary. The PS1 gray varsity jacket does this by placing PlayStation's hallowed symbol in its original colors on one side and embroidering Astro's head on the other.

Astro's Cameo Bots now have their own section on PS Plus.

This section contains references to all games Astro Bot available on PS Plus.

One of the t-shirts and matching hoodie features a notable cameo from Astro Bot, Bots joining the titular heroes. Surrounding Astro are bot versions of Aloy, Kratos, Jin, Nathan Drake, Ratchet, and Clank. The same design can be found on the hoodies in the collection, but they are smaller and located at the chest area rather than in the center like the matching t-shirt design.

Speedrunning takes on a different look with Astro socks.

The other t-shirt is white with Astro playing PS1 embroidered on the chest and a large winking Astro logo on the back. The fifth and final item in Insert Coin's new Astro range may be the best of the Astro socks. These are more than just white socks with Astro's face on them. The socks feature some of the animals you encounter throughout the new game. The turtle robot you'll encounter in the various levels, Astro the monkey you use to climb up and open things, and the little desert fox that opened Astro's reveal trailer are all here.

Everything in the new Astro Bot collection will be available on Insert Coin by the time you read this. If that's not enough, you can purchase more official Astro Bot merchandise through the PlayStation Gear store, including other t-shirts, water bottles, and graffiti hoodies. If you've perused the collection and want to buy it to play more of Astro, another speedrun level dropped yesterday along with a couple of bots to unlock.
