It's hard to believe, but playstation 5 I'm already five years old. Sony's latest console has been a huge commercial success, with the PS5 featuring some of the best games released over the past five years. However, the main difference between the PS5 and previous Sony consoles is that exclusive releases haven't been as big a focus.
In the early days of the PS5's launch, many of the notable games were cross-gen games released alongside the PS4. Sony has made a concerted effort to bring many of the games that were once exclusives to PC, and as a result, five years after launch, the PS5 includes just eight exclusive games that don't require additional hardware like a PlayStation VR2 headset.
PS5 games where you can actually get your hands on the easy Platinum Trophy
Are you ready to go platinum trophy hunting? Well, if you're looking for some easy prey, these PS5 games will get you there pretty quickly.
I decided to play and rank all eight PS5 exclusive games released so far. Whether you recently got a PS5 for the holidays or are wondering which exclusive games are worth playing, we highly recommend checking out the top titles on this list.
We've decided not to include PlayStation 5 exclusive games that require PSVR2. Horizon: Call of the Mountain and synapseBecause we wanted to focus on games that people could play with just a console. That said, if you own a PlayStation VR2, both games have relatively high review scores, making them a safe bet. Remasters and enhanced ports are also excluded from this list.

quantum error
The worst PS5 exclusive released so far is a disaster. quantum error. It's a strange cosmic horror game where you shoot at any enemy you see in an open space, wait for them to get shot, and then immediately fall down with almost no animation. quantum error You can also put out the fire. The checkpoints are terrible, the game is ugly, and it's an unplayable mess. It's expected to come to PC and Xbox at some point, and if that happens, the PS5 exclusive lineup will look a lot better. I bought it on sale for $7.99, but I still feel like I was scammed.

Destruction All Stars
when Destruction All Stars When first released, the game was released as a PS Plus game on day one. At launch it was a fun, over-the-top vehicular battle, but fast forward to 2025 and online is completely dead. There's still an offline mode worth checking out, but online has been the biggest selling point. Destruction All Stars. Getting it for free through PS Plus was one thing, but I can't imagine paying the current asking price of $39.99.

Silent Hill: A Short Message
Silent Hill: A Short Message Overall, it's a bit easier to recommend because it's free to download and play, but that doesn't mean it's a particularly good game. Silent Hill: A Short Message It lasts for a few hours and deals with heavy topics rather clumsily, but it at least has some real scares and it looks good doing so. short message It's a visually impressive game and certainly takes advantage of the DualSense's unique features, especially the microphone, but for the most part it's pretty boring.

Astro's Playroom
quantum error, Destruction All Starsand Silent Hill: A Short Message These are all what I consider to be “bad” PS5 exclusives. From now on, everything league Starting with something better Astro's Playroom. It's an effective tech demo, especially for the PS5 and DualSense controller. Astro's Playroom It comes free with all consoles. It's a fun little platformer with lots of personality, and would rank higher on the list if it weren't so short.

Demon's Souls (2020)
devil's soul It would rank higher if it wasn't a remake of a PS3 game. But despite being a PS5 launch title, it's still one of the best games ever released for the system. Developed by Bluepoint Games and based on FromSoftware's groundbreaking 2009 game, the game devil's soul The remake is a graphic masterpiece that successfully brings the founder of the Soulslike genre up to modern standards. Although it can feel a bit basic at times compared to subsequent Soulslike games, it's still easily recommended to fans of the genre.

I like most of Hideo Kojima's work, so I was heartbroken when I played the original. death stranding And I hated it. I went in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach I was expecting a similar experience, but I left rather impressed. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a graphic powerhouse with a realistic game world and a much more exciting and engaging story than its predecessor. death stranding 2 They didn't forget to add “fun” to the game, and to me it felt like a great salvation for Kojima.

Astrobot
The best PS5 exclusive is undoubtedly the 2024 Game of the Year winner. Astrobot. A full-fledged sequel to the brilliant pack-in game. Astro's Playroom, Astrobot It's the best amazing 3D platform adventure the genre has ever seen. It's a constant barrage of genius ideas, with not a bad level in the bunch.
