xbox game pass is scheduled to lose 10 games today, July 15th. However, this isn't all bad news, as Microsoft has previously signaled that the wave of Xbox Game Pass launches will be much larger.
As is often the case, the July 15 removal appeared in the Xbox app in early July, before Microsoft officially announced it. This initial list once again proved to be not entirely accurate, as it identified 12 Xbox Game Pass departures.
The list of upcoming Xbox Game Pass removals is shorter than expected, but still long.
According to the Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 lineup for July 2026, the upcoming departure will only feature a total of 10 games. The list includes: golf with friends, Whiskerwoodand Power Wash Simulatortogether Stellaris, Techtonicaand EA Sports FC 24. Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Minami Lane You too will leave next time, just like that Hinterberg Dungeon. The final titles for the elimination wave are: Splitgate: Arena Reloaded. Because it's free to play, opting out of Xbox Game Pass will mean subscribers lose access to certain membership-exclusive benefits.
Starting today, all Xbox Game Pass games will be retired

Minami Lane is a hand-drawn management simulation originally added to Xbox Game Pass in July 2025. It wasn't on the list of 12 titles presumed to be leaving earlier this month, and its departure was officially confirmed as part of the Wave 1 roadmap for July 2026.
