The March 13 patch also addresses four issues related to spectating, respawns, and vehicle and armor behavior. with warzoneBlack Ops Royale mode is a new highlight. call of duty After the season, Raven's developers will focus on improving the overall experience for the time being. Black Ops Royale differs from the game's classic playlist in that much of the match progress turns into the rounds themselves. Rather than making initial decisions around cash flow, loadout timing, and Buy Station access, this mode emphasizes looting, weapon rarity upgrades, consumable perks, and movement tools like wall jumps and wingsuits.
The broader structure also changes the method. warzone Addresses survivability and recovery. Players begin Black Ops Royale with 150 base health and 150 armor, and systems such as trauma kits, armor vests, redeployment tokens, and redeployment towers are intended to expand engagements and provide more ways for your squad to stay competitive. The result is a playlist that places less emphasis on the typical economic loop and more emphasis on how teams gradually build momentum through exploration and activity completion. Goals now play a bigger role in the process. Activities such as surveillance drones, vault cracking events, relay antennas, supply drops, and cradle breaches serve as primary reward sources, with cradle zones providing higher value loot and exotic weapons. Taken together, these mechanics make Black Ops Royale feel less like a straightforward variation of standard Warzone and more like a parallel ruleset designed around layered progression.
In addition to Black Ops Royale, Season 02 Reloaded introduces several progression hooks through limited-time content and playlist support. The Altitude Tactics event includes rewards like the Voyak KT-3 Assault Rifle, while the Counter Skies Event Pass includes the Swordfish A1 Marksman Rifle and Echo 12 Backlash Launcher Kit. Raven also refreshed the perk pools for Battle Royale and Resurgence and made economic adjustments, including replacing Alertness with Momentum, Bomb Squad with Berserker, Tracker with Hunter, adding Advanced UAV to Buy Stations for $40,000, and raising Specialist to $35,000.
