Pokemon Legends: ZA It's definitely not perfect pokemon It's a game, but its flaws contribute to either: pokemon’s most famous mechanics are undeniable. Mega Evolution is back in a big way, re-implemented and redesigned for real-time action, with several new Mega Evos. Pokemon Legends: ZA. Game Freak isn't stopping there either, as the Mega Dimension DLC has already promised to add a new Mega Evolution. Game Freak has yet to reveal most of its forms aside from Raichu, but there's a theory that Mega Dimension may have already teased its most important Mega Evolution, Hoopa.
it's not surprising Pokemon Legends: ZA We are planning to introduce DLC based on the 6th generation mythical Pokemon Hoopa. pokemon The franchise and its interdimensional powers open the door to all the new settings Game Freak wants. Strictly speaking, the developers haven't confirmed Hoopa's Mega Evolution, but in my opinion, it makes sense considering there are already records of Mega Evolutions for Legendary Pokemon. Plus, Hoopa has a solid chance of getting two mega evolutions: Hoopa Confined and Hoopa Unbound.
Pokemon Legends: ZA may be able to give Hoopa the best of both worlds in the Mega Dimension DLC.
Hoopa belongs to the famous club of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon with shape-changing mechanics, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Deoxys, Meloetta, Zacian, and Zamazenta. Like some of his companions, Hoopa changes types when he switches between forms. That is, in Confined form, it will be a Psychic/Ghost type, and in Unbound form, it will be a Psychic/Dark type. Additionally, each of Hoopa's forms has signature moves: Hyperspace Hole in Confined and Hyperspace Fury in Unbound. Despite Hoopa Unbound generally having much better base stats than Hoopa Confined, there are times when you can use either of Hoopa's two forms in combat thanks to these moves and type matchups.
Although nothing has been confirmed, it's possible that Game Freak could tweak Hoopa's base stats to make the two forms more equal.
The best way for Game Freak to highlight the differences and strengths of the two forms is to give them both Mega Evolutions. There's absolutely no question that Hoopas, as non-evolved forms, can all Mega Evolve, and if both Mega Charizard X and Y and Mega Mewtwo X and Y can exist, then Mega Hoopa X and Y can too. As DLC for Mega Evolution and Hoopa, it makes sense to somehow combine the two core features.
It will certainly raise some logical questions. For example, Hoopa Confined might feel like an odd candidate for Mega Evolution. Because the point of the design is that this is a limited version of Hoopa that's been cut off from its full potential. One is also curious Pokemon Legends: ZA We'll break convention by using two different Mega Stones for two Hoopas, or marking one “Hoopanite” for two people to share. But ultimately, I see this as a possible source of creativity rather than an obstacle. Mega Hoopa Confined can depict Pokémon pushing their limits, emphasizing the power of its Unbound form and the overwhelming power of Mega Hoopa Unbound.
Hoopa's role is just one of the mysteries surrounding the Mega Dimension DLC.
Hoopa's question about Mega Evolution fits into a larger question about the Mega Dimension DLC that I have since getting through. Pokemon Legends: ZA. After the base game's story steers away from Zygarde, I wonder if the DLC will instead immediately place Hoopa in the player's hands as a partner in their interdimensional adventure. This allows players to unlock Mega Hoopa Confined relatively early in the story and builds anticipation for Mega Hoopa Unbound near the end. We won't know how far Game Freak will go to highlight the return of Mega Evolution until the DLC is released.
