The good news is that Xiong Zhuying's son was able to participate in the US tour and did a great job honoring his father's achievements. It was a really heartwarming moment, and I could tell my son was touched by the crowd's reaction.
In addition to the musical instruments displayed during the exhibition, Black Myth: Wukong In concert, the game's vocalists Gao Tianhe, Zhang Xinxin, Liu Wei, and Zhang Yi bring the performances throughout the game to life. If you've ever played Black Myth: WukongYou see, each chapter is separated by artistic sequences that delve deep into the backstories of many bosses and NPCs. These sections were visually stunning and varied in artistic medium, so it was a real pleasure to see them with live vocalists.
It's not often that a game includes all of these different songs and arrangements, and it was clear that GameScience wanted to get every element of the soundtrack right, not just the instrumental work. Obviously, these aren't characters, but each artist brought real emotion to their songs, creating performances that were just as captivating as what they appeared on screen.
Video games are a visual medium, so you can't have a concert series without highlighting key moments from the game supported by music. This is what makes this type of experience special, Black Myth: Wukong Global concerts are no different. Each song tapped into the emotions of a major part of the game to remind us of the incredible journey the Destined One travels. There's nothing better than hearing music during a live game. Live music enhances the action on screen, reminding us of key moments that can be remembered for a variety of reasons. I'll admit that there have been more than a few instances when I saw a challenging boss (I'm looking at you Erlang Shen) or enemy and was reminded of my struggle to beat them and the joy that followed when I eventually did so.
Probably the best compliment I can give is Black Myth: Wukong The thing about Global Concert is that it immediately made me want to go home, start a new save of the game, and experience it all over again. I was happy to be able to introduce Chinese culture to California through music. It may not be widely available, but I hope it becomes more common through games like this: Black Myth: Wukong Become popular.
