In SUnautica 2Lithium can be found in: Found 250m southeast of the Lifepod in a cave in the lava biome.. The high temperatures will prevent your character from traversing this biome until you unlock the heat tolerance adaptation, which allows you to survive extreme heat without dying.

After gaining heat resistance, you can freely search for lithium in lava biomes. HUD compass direction on Lifepod 120 marker, between S and SEswim in a straight line 250m. You'll know you've reached the right spot when an indicator appears in the center of the screen to show the temperature rise.

When you get here, explore and discover the area. Cave with glowing green grass and mushrooms with thick turquoise stems and brown heads. Lithium nodes appear in large quantities inside these caves.

All of the lithium nodes I found were large deposits. Mining using Sonic Resonator. There may be smaller nodes that you can pick up by hand, but I haven't found any. At least until now.

It's also worth mentioning that it's large. Lithium deposits only produce 1-2 lithium ores per node.Unlike titanium, copper and other common ores which give 5 each.
