There is a lot to look for to achieve 100%. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resync. From floating song sheets to hidden costumes and tons of ship decorations, you can waste a lot of time looking for everything. Some areas you need to explore won't be available until later in the main campaign.
One of those locations is Long Bay, which is locked until you progress through the mission “The Observatory”. Once you complete this mission, you'll be able to return to the area and explore freely, finding collectibles hidden throughout.
All Long Bay collectible locations
Like many other islands, Long Bay has a combination of animals, lookouts, secrets, chests and, crucially, the 16th Mayan stele. Located in the Castillo de Jagua region at coordinates (496,266), this location can be accessed after visiting the area during the “The Observatory” campaign mission.
This guide covers where to find all the collectibles you need to “complete” this location and turn the symbol gold, and lists where the data files are if you're interested in getting those items even if you don't need them. The only part we won't cover is where to hunt animals. If you visit any of the viewpoints listed below, they will all be clearly marked on the map.
By now, most of the animal skins they provide are mostly useless other than selling or trading certain cosmetics. Long Bay is unlocked later in the game, so you'll almost certainly have acquired all of Kenway's crafting upgrades already. If you want to hunt an animal, go to its icon on the map, get near the animal, and use Assassin's Vision to find it.
The rest of the collectibles can be 100% achieved in Long Bay, as this is where you can find everything.

Viewpoint 1 location — 499,291
The first lookout point in Long Bay can be found immediately after docking your ship on the shore. When you get to the beach, look for a large mast sticking out of the water and several birds flying around it. Just near the top of the mast there is a section where you can stand and sync with the surrounding area.

Viewpoint 2 location — 505,232
The second viewpoint can be found deeper in the island once you get through the first jungle section with all the animals. Once you enter the next beach area where the corpse is tied to a pole, you will see a huge tower with a pirate hanging from the top. Climb to the top of the tower and you'll find another synchronization point.

Viewpoint locations — 502,218
The final observatory is located right next to the entrance to the observatory. When you arrive, look to the left of the entrance and you will see a large block structure covered in vines. Climb along the right wall of this structure to reach the top where the final sync point is located.

Chest 1 Location — 491,299
The first chest is on the beach just below Viewpoint 1. Head into the water and swim past the large mast sticking out of the water to the floating wreckage. Jump into the sea next to the board and you'll find a chest lying next to some coral and rocks. Open it and get thousands of reales.

Box 2 Location — 509,232
To find the second chest, go to the inner beach where the pirate is hanging from the large tower. If you look towards the tower and look to your right, you will see a small cave entrance blocked by a wooden pillar. To the left of this temporary door you can see a wooden plank leaning against the wall. Use this to scale the cliff and go through the hole in the ceiling into a room with a chest.

Box 3 Location — 507,226
The final chest is in the first area of the jungle, patrolled by hostile natives. Eliminate the enemies, then go to the lowest level of the cave.. About halfway along the left wall there is an opening that leads into a side room with four pillars. You'll find a third chest at the back of the room, which can add some extra money to your pocket.

Secret 1 Location — 507,226
The first secret is in the same location as the third chest. This is in a cave where you first encounter enemy natives. Go left into the next room and you'll find a message in a bottle in front of four large pillars sticking out of the sand.

Secret 2 Location — 507,223
The second secret is in the cave where you found the previous secret. Go up to the second floor of the cave and head to the cave entrance. Turn right and there's a path that leads to a side area with a chest. Inside the box is a bracelet that can be displayed back in the mansion.

Mayan Tomb Locations — 501,217
The last major collection on the island is the Mayan stelae. If you've collected all of the previous Mayan stelaes by now, this should be the 16th artifact. Fortunately, this place is very easy to find as it is located just to the right of Viewpoint 3 outside the observatory entrance. Stand on the podium and line up your outlines around three square podiums rising from the ground.

Data file location — 501,217
For those who want the data file, go to where you found the Mayan stele and look up along the right wall. You can climb to the top by moving to the left side of the wall and using the notch to scale to the top. Go up there and you will see a data file floating in the air.
