Okay, come out of the range of DM and come here for a while. There is a way to believe or deceive in dungeons & dragons. Of course, I do not support these methods. Dungeons & Dragons are the best when the table is fair and everyone trusts each other.

8 You have to try running anyway anyway.
Maybe it would be nice. Maybe it will end terribly.
What I say is that if someone tries to deceive as a player, it will be wrong again. To avoid doing so, check the list of neutral methods that use tricks in DND.
10
Hide
Do not look under the table
This is probably most of us, as most of us as Dungeons & Dragons, are familiar with cheating. Some of the most personal versions of this cheat are to roll on the floor by chance and actually roll on the DM.
High dice boxes and dice towers are always good. Make sure you have no neighbors with no nostrils at the table.
Absolute classic
Many people think that Metagaming is a normal part of the Dungeons & Dragons campaign, but Spade will call it Spade. Ultimately, Meta Gaming is a trick. For those who do not know, Meta Gaming is when you use knowledge as a player you do not necessarily have.
For example, a player can see that a specific monster is vulnerable to certain types of damage, but knowing the character guy may be meaningless. In favor of knowledge, you can be honest, so you can get insight into a battle that feels like tricks.
8
omission
Technically, not a lie
Our DMS is especially intense and cannot remember everything in several hours of battle. If the player commits a mistake for a lot of time, it is expected that the player will inform the DM or forget the important things such as the conditions or disadvantages of the player.

Dungeon & Dragon: The best idea to run one shot
For beginners or fast adventures, one shot campaign can be a perfect way.
But sometimes it feels like being a child in class to a teacher who has forgotten to collect homework from a teacher. If you forget that DM should store death, you may not notice it. Respect between the thieves and all of them.

Fudging HP
Cover the sheet
Beyond the dice roll, you can also spread HP during battle. If you do not know that DM is tracking the health of everyone during the battle, there is no reason to subtly shave some damage here and there.
The worst scenario, you can always blame your HP tracking as a side effect of 'bad for mathematics'. After all, no one in us went into the DND because we did well. The game is about rolling and storytelling. Who cares about if the number is not in crisis?
6
Stupid performance
What does it mean?
Like the idea of not doing math or tracking HP, you can play stupidly with DM to avoid murder. Perhaps you didn't know how Thunderstep worked. Or do you know that you don't know it, you have forgotten to roll it once. Is it an accident?
Dungeons & Dragons is a table -based table game, and the roll play does not need to be stopped as a character. If you want to leave a cheating at the table, you may want to play 'roll playing' as a Dungeons & Dragons player who doesn't know the rules.
5
Homebridge
Official way
Spade is called Space. HOMEBREW or other custom content can be welcomed at the Dungeons & Dragons table at any time. To be honest, however, many players use home bridges, especially if they get home bridges from other systems, editions, or campaigns, using low height in the game.

Dungeons & Dragons: 8 ways to deceive with DM
This is because “fun game” is the only rules that should never be broken.
This can really really be difficult. But if DM allows home brids and has not been limited to it, using home brush is a good way to buff the character by default. You can always be hiding behind the word 'home brush'.
4
Help DM
Help them and hurt them
You are not really deceived, but 'help' DM. As I said before, DM tends to have forgotten. If you are more comfortable to lie with omission, you can adhere to the lane at any time. But there is nothing to say that you can't lie down on the face of DM. Oh, except, I think the rules can't do it.
If DM asks about the battle round or someone's conditions, DM helps DM so that you can operate the battle smoothly about the rules or problems. Isn't it a good idea to provide such information and to have a helpful player?
3
Recharge
Take two
Many Dungeon Masters went back and forth about how much they allowed them. For those who do not know, retconning is when you make a mistake, misinterpreting something wrong, and asking for Mulligan or Do-Over. Some DMs are very flexible about this. Others don't, so read this room before reading this room.
However, if the reco is allowed in the DM, it can be advantageously used. Suppose you try to attack and not work. You can claim that you want to do something else instead of misunderstanding the attack or function in the DM. Be careful not to push your luck with this. Each game is enough for a few times.

A favorite ball girl
please?
This is a more way to use a small cheat and a merciful DM like me. Sometimes if you have a big show and begins your hands and knees, DM will be granted even if DM is not actually qualified.

Legacy content
It blurs the line
There are many gray areas between legacy content and modern content, depending on whether or not you use the 2014 Dungeons & Dragons rules or 2024 rule. Some heritage rules were completely broken, so it was greatly removed from the game in 2024. But even the coastal magicians admit that some tables prefer these rules.
Even if DM runs a campaign in 2024, you can advocate to use the 2014 rules for builds. Depending on how DM recognizes the old content, you can avoid murder depending on the build.
