Abnormal Class is preparing a fantastic music festival. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun's latest anime season has begun, and the stakes are already much higher than students expected. Season 4 made it clear that Naberius Kalego would not show any mercy to the abnormal class. His tough love forces Iruma Suzuki and his 12 demon classmates to either reach Dalet rank or go broke at the upcoming music festival. Some students, including Iruma and Asmodeus Alice, may already be Dalet, but this will not be an easy task for anyone.
The spring 2026 anime season may include more fresh and original anime in the lineup, including: Dr. Stone and witch hat atelierBut the familiar appeal of boyish style is undeniable. Iruma-kun Animation or something. Season 4 ticks the right boxes with the power of friendship, the virtue of hard work, and the burning will to express yourself through music despite the odds. But for now, Iruma and the rest must grow up as aspiring musicians and dancers. Otherwise, this challenge will be over before it even begins.

Fans of shonen anime are no strangers to rigorous training, and other genres have their own versions where athletes or creative types invest time in a studio or gym to hone their skills before a big event. Real life is also full of examples of famous musicians and guitar players who got there slowly and surely through incredibly hard work, like AC/DC's Angus Young or even the late Michael Jackson himself. The musical animation genre can sometimes tap into this gritty spirit with a healthy dose of comedy or drama. Iruma-kun Now it too is taking its turn.
In the previous season Iruma-kun The anime showcased the fruits of intense training or practice, such as Iruma Suzuki's archery training with Bachiko, and the hellish training the rest of the Abnormal class had to endure before the harvest festival began. The same thing is happening in the early episodes of season 4, both in terms of the demdol dance routine and the music itself. This is a rare example of an entire class at Babyls School practicing the same thing together, unlike the two- or three-person training teams from previous training arcs. However, despite all 13 abnormal students working together, these creative efforts are progressing slowly.
Most abnormal classes struggle to learn the gait and even flashy smile of a true Demdol, and the experienced Demdol Kerori is leading the way with her own expertise in this field. Interestingly, while some students, like Shax Lead, get along quite well when they are motivated to impress the girls in their class, Asmodeus Alice and Valac Clara are friends who are simply not on the same wavelength and are getting in each other's way. Meanwhile, Iruma and trumpet player Person Soi face their own creative obstacles as their class's upcoming demdol performance approaches.
In fact, Iruma Suzuki is the Babyls' lone human and has a more relaxed and friendly attitude than the others, but that doesn't always give him an edge in creative thinking. Iruma's human mindset served him well during the harvest festival, where resourcefulness and strategy trumped sheer aggression, but this musical training is different. Now Iruma is wrestling with a magic piano with a cartoonish look that reflects Iruma's carefree and timid personality, but not suitable for a music festival.
Iruma's creative well feels a bit dry at the moment, and most surprisingly of all, Purson is also struggling. He has experience with that trumpet, but it's not enough for Kalego, and he's running out of time. Somehow, these boys have to dig deeper to bring out the true spark of creativity they possess. Otherwise, Kerori's well-trained dancers would have a pretty limping soundtrack for their demdol performances.
