US TV star Erica Ash dead at 46 after ‘long and courageous battle’

News of her death was confirmed to Decider through her publicist, who shared the following statement from Ash's mother, Diann Ash:

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Erica Chantal Ash (1977-2024),” the statement read. “After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side. Erica was an incredible woman and talented entertainer whose sharp wit, humor and genuine zest for life touched the lives of countless others.

The statement continues, “Her memory will live forever in our hearts. In memory of Erica.” [sic] In memory of her, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation or the Breast Cancer Foundation of your choice. We appreciate your kind love and support during this difficult time.”

Her legal representative also confirmed the news to Decider, asking everyone to pray for her family.
