GENEVA: A UN team of investigators said Tuesday they had met with victims of violence in Sudan’s brutal civil war in Chad and had documented a “disturbing pattern” of serious abuses. The newly established UN independent international fact-finding mission into the situation in Sudan said it had spent three weeks in Chad with survivors of the conflict, members of Sudanese civil society and other observers.
