First introduced as a man with a deep hatred of heroes and a subjective sense of justice, Garou was once Bang's pride and hope for a better future. He was a very talented young man who had the potential to one day surpass even his master. Falling victim to divine manipulation and physical transformation, the Garou have become true monsters powerful enough to erase humanity if they wish.
His combat abilities were already lethal even when awakened, but what made him such a dangerous warrior was his ability to instantly adapt and grow whenever he took any damage. Garou has so far been the only monster to push Saitama out of his comfort zone. He is objectively one of the best hand-to-hand fighters in anime and the best fighter in the series so far.
