Original Vampires: Masquerade -BloodLines had four areas: Santa Monica, Hollywood, Los Angeles downtown and Chinatown. When you were ready to travel to the next area in one neighborhood, you simply jumped into a yellow taxi and took a shot of a shot through the loading screen and went out of the taxi to explore it. It was a game that existed in an individual mass. The commute between them was Yada-Yada'd. Unfortunately, the sequel, Vampire: The MastQuerade -BloodLines 2, the actual journey is not always so fast and painful.
It has been six years since Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs has announced that it is developing a successor to Cult Classic in 2004. On March 21, 2019, like the Seattle environment, this game was released and we plan to get it from next year.
It went fast in 2025, and we still didn't play games, but there were many changes. The narrative lead Brian Mitsoda and Creative Director Ka'AI Cluney were removed from the 2020 project and followed by a hard suit laboratory next year. There is a new developer, a Chinese room. The sequel was half late about the release window. And fans are no longer happy to see the series return. They are wondering that monkeys' foot curling allows their old friends to crawl out of the grave.
The sequel is difficult and the sequel to the legacy is more difficult
I hide in R/VTMB, and vocal members in the community tend to say negatively about the sequel. It seems strange that the community has begun a game that has been developed for 10 years in any form, in any form, in order not to be interested in accepting vampires. But accepting VTMB2 itself is not as simple as sound.
Legacy sequels face harsh investigation rather than follow -ups that were originally arrived immediately after the game. Ryu Ga Gotoku can be a bit strange because it starts a new game every year. If fans have been waiting for Kiryu to come back for 21 years, the turn -based JRPG, starring another character, will not go well.
But it is basically a situation where VTMB fans are dealing with here. This series is coming back, but it is still less than the first when you use a rolent drama that makes the original game special and a sequel that emphasizes the choice of conversation, and provides all six A vampire clans for DLC.
I'm still excited about the game. I can't help it. The original is different from other things and wants more, even if it is not powerful. The vampire eventually pinches the blood. But it is very different from the original template. Vampires: The most untest TTRPG and the larger dark world universe are particularly strange, given that they offer a variety of materials.
Vampires: The Maduity -Line 2 is basically canceled
Vampires: Masquerade -BloodLines 2 fans will finally sink the fangs on October 21. For all intentions and purposes, there are different games and games that are different from the first pitching in 2019, but some have been essentially resumed in the Chinese room. This studio is famous as an first -person adventure game that wakes up the rapture of Esther, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and still deep and wake up the flat former Little Orpheus. It's crispy and system -oriented RPGs.
Publisher Paradox Interactive did not provide specific reasons for removing Mitsoda, Clune, Cara Ellison and Hardsuit Labs from the game. The work began in 2015 and the original plan started in 2020.
This version was quite previewed with the fans of the series and sounded like a very open RPG that matched the VTMB. Lack of theoretical basis mentioned after reboot, and Paradox regarded many fans as a Jodorowsky 'S DUNE with a skeptical and lost hard suit laboratory in a Chinese room. It only lives in trailers, screenshots and concept arts.
It is easy to project a much richer VTMB2 in the game that is much more richer than we will get this fall. I don't know if the VTMB2 of hardSuit Labs was good. No one can do it. But we still decide whether the VTMB2 in the Chinese room is great. Travel was long and difficult. I hope the destination is worth it.
