Pokemon World Championships is more than a tournament. Over the past few years, Pokemon Company has grown slowly with a hybrid fan event/ esports tournament by adding a variety of fan -centered activities to the event.
This year's event felt like the climax of everything that TPC tried. Pokemon Worlds 2025 transformed the Anaheim Convention Center into a full -fledged Pokecon through suppliers, panels, exhibitions, activities and performances, and the most production competition in Pokemon was the largest production competition.
Since we felt as if we were watching Pokemon World in the final form, we were shocked when TPC announced that the TPC announced that it would be much larger and better due to the dedicated fan experience of Pokemon XP, which the world runs side by side with the tournament next year. Pokemon Worlds 2025 effectively was a pilot for the future of Pokemon Fan Events, but it is difficult to guess how bigger it has since.

There are things you can expect in the Pokemon World Championship series for many years. The three -day event features the highest level of competition in four Pokemon games (Unite, Go, TCG and VGC), and provides many opportunities for players to participate in action in each side event.
This year, TPC filed a steak by hosting a Sunday championship in 4 games in 7,500 stadiums, and this is the first time that the world has been competing for the first time in the stadium. Production quality was incredible. Lighting, fog and flame technicians pierced their shoes every moment, and the project of a huge center stage brought life to each game. This year, TPC has provided competitive gravity to competitive Pokemon at the last 20 years of esports events.
But competition was less than half or half of the total events. The main stage and competitive area occupied the entire Hall B, but the remaining convention centers were used to celebrate the other aspects of Pokemon Fandom.
Perhaps the most notable is the Pokemon Center, which occupies all of the largest hole in the convention center. Pokemon Center popup has been a big draw to the world, so this year, TPC started entering local non -participants. This has been the largest and most impressive Pokemon shopping experience so far, and the products and monopoly from the wall to the wall fill the entire hall. Parts esports, parts fan convention
The next door of Hall C is where traditional convention activities are set. On the back was a big stage of various panels throughout the weekend, and there was a series of sign booths for content creators, artists and Pokemon staff. The hall had two exhibitions, one of which showed the art of the BLACK BOLT & WHITE FLARE POKEMON TCG set, and the other served as the Pokemon Worlds History Museum. All Pokémon world consoles, games, and products, which dates back to 2004, were exhibited.
My favorite feature in the world was in this hall this year. Collect & Trade Corner is a bazaar with no cash, a bazaar who can freely set up tables, trade cards, games and other Pokemon products. Many fans traveled around the world and watched a lot of collections. I met more people and made more memories than anywhere else in the convention.
My favorite part was the pin rally on the weekend. The pin rally features a scabin that hunt and pin trading space for monopoly pins. This is entirely suitable for Anaheim, who is already a big Disney pin trading, but it takes a long time for Pokemon.
Since I have been collecting Pokemon Pins from TCG products and other world events for many years, it is interesting to have the opportunity to showcase collections and transactions with other collectors. The pin rally by all accounts has achieved great success, so we look forward to how this specific activity evolves in the future.
On the other side of the competition, there is a place where suppliers are installed in Hall A. Again, this is a common feature of the fan convention, but it is not seen in Pokemon Worlds before. Here, companies such as Build-A-Bear, Bandai, PSA and Cool Stuff Inc. can find a company that sells all kinds of Pokemon products. Participants can also practice with ZA Demoes such as the first Pokemon Legends or sit in the inquiry space and see two episodes or two episodes of Pokemon Horizons.

This year's Pokemon Worlds is not a thorough list of Pokemon Play Lab, Bear Walker Skateboard Demonstration, Pokémon Go, Art Class, Pokemon Go Hunting, Character Meeting and Greetings. There is no way to do everything during the three -day event. This is impressive that TPC will be bigger in the world next year.
Two big announcements for the world next year were held at the closure awards ceremony. First, the Championship Sunday will be held at the San Francisco Chase Center, Golden State Warriors, and the stadium of the stadium of the Anaheim Convention Center, and this Sunday Sunday, most championships. I can't wait for Pokemon fans to fill the Chase Center next year.
Second, the Convention HALF of Worlds has been announced that it will be held at the same time next year. Called Pokemon XP will be the first Pokemon fan celebration based on the world's success this year. The first Pokemon XP ticket will be sold on September 17 next month and is expected to be sold quickly.
I have been attending the world since 2022, and it was amazing to see how fast it went to this point. In London, there was a small carnival area where children could play games and take pictures outside the convention center. The following year, TPC surprised the fans with Piccu Parade, Drone Show, Pokemon Working Tours and SS Anne. In 2024, the world of Hawaii once again brought the Poke Park experience to introduce more non -competitive activities and provided the most broad Pokemon Center pop -up.
It is toward what we saw in Anaheim this year. The 20th Pokemon World Championship has created a space for Pokemon Players, Card Collectors, Plush Explisers, Art Arginators, Pin Hunters, Anime Watchers and other Pokemon Fan. No matter how you enjoy Pokemon, the world has a place for you this year. If this can be expected in the Pokemon XP event in the future, we have a lot to expect.
