Yoriichi Tsugikuni was born with the devil slayer mark of the Sengoku era. He was able to perform amazing achievements from the day he picked up his knife as a talented swordsman. His incomparable talent helped him to name his name, and eventually he joined the Devil Slayer Corps.

Tsugikuni revolutionized the ancient organization by inventing solar breath. This eventually became a blueprint to create another swordsman style that would be a great help to the Devil Slayer Corps. Just as this achievement is not enough, Yoriichi helped other swords to wake up the demon slayer mark by guiding the Golden Age of the Demon Slayer.
Tsugikuni's achievements will guarantee more screen time, but sadly, it will never happen. Yoriichi provided a lot as a character, but his potential is never really deeply explored in the story.
The tragic hero could add deeper to the story.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni is the only devil slayer who fought only with kokushibo and muzan. He was overwhelming, forcing Kibutsuji to run for his life and making the upper moon feel like a beginner. But despite the withdrawal of such amazing achievements, his journey was rarely received.

These are probably the best demon slayer: Kimetsu no yaiba episode.
It is sad that he has not been known for his inspired swordsman, and after a few centuries, he has been transformed into an overwhelming legend that repercuses up until the Taio era. Infinity Castle Arc was set to illuminate some light in his life while judging the cartoon, but his story would not get many screen time. Even if producers take creative freedom, Yoriichi is unlikely to focus in some short moments in the last combat arc.
This is tragic because viewers were able to experience the magic Sengoku era, and during this period, Yoriichi suffered a battle between good and evil in human favor and caused the devil to be extinct. Sadly, fans won't soak in the magnificence of the era of modern swordsmanship. Moreover, since the breathing style was invention of Tsugikuni, most of their history would be covered forever, avoiding legendary swordsmen.

But perhaps the biggest tragedy of this is that fans will not see the true potential of Yoriichi as a swordsman. Since his time, the fight against the devil has never been mentioned. Unfortunately, there was a short confrontation between Muzan and Kokushibo, which means that it would be simple to capture Tsugikuni.
This story was available by digging deeper in the past and exploring his journey in more detail. But after all, in this story, Yoriichi's role seems to be the opinion that passed through the epic foundation. By using his potential as a great figure Devil Slayer: Kimetsu No YAIBA I couldn't define Tsugkuni's legacy, and fans were disappointed.
