All of the houses found in the Ravenwood area of The Sims 4: Life and Death feature high walls, ornate furniture, elaborate lighting fixtures, and many cracks in the windows, floors, and walls. But not everything in this deadly pack is corrupt. Some of the furniture is truly beautiful!

The Sims 4: Life and Death Overview – You Reap What You Sow
It is a heart of death, but not as we know it.
The Sims 4: Life & Death adds 200 new build/buy objects to the game, along with tons of stylish new furniture to help bring the death-centric world of Ravenwood to life. Here are our picks for the best additions from the expansion.
8
Best Bed: Tuft Elegance Bed
It's sometimes been difficult to provide easy-to-use build/buy items in a build where the pack doesn't focus squarely on the furniture in the pack, but the Tufted Elegance Bed certainly looks like it would fit into a moderately luxurious bedroom. There are plenty of options for a spooky feel, but you're sure to find something more natural among the 14 total color options.
With an Energy Score of 8 and a Stress Relief Score of 5, the Tufted Elegance bed will look gorgeous in any bedroom, but you'll also find options in the Life & Death pack that pair perfectly with it. Place GentleNight's Modern Grimpressions Nightstand next to your bed, or find GentleNight's Modern Grimpressions Dresser to suggest new ways for your Sims to dress. Add a few Secret Goopy Bottles there for a sophisticated look.
7
Best Chair: Studded Spiers & Filthy Liars Rocking Chair
Luckily, Sims know that there is no death without life, and there are plenty of cute new ways to create a Ravenwood-themed nursery for your young Sims. The Studded Spiers & Filthy Liars Rocking Chair will look great anywhere in your home, especially since it's available in 12 colors, but it's the perfect addition to your next nursery.
Once your children have aged out of their Peace Tabernacle crib, they can crawl into the spooky Munchkin's comfortable night bed. Buy the new Grimton Toy Nibbles to help your child develop their creative skills or strengthen their budding social skills! There's also the Giant Mollusk Pouf, a cool little pouf that gives your little Sims a little space to sit.

Best Surface: Modern Grimpressions Desk by GentleNight
The Writing Skills in The Sims 4: Life and Death have a pretty big focus between writing options and the Ghost Historian's aspirations that require it (and how to access the new types of books that writer Sims can write in). Write a bucket list for your Sim. Quaint Crowskin Journal is a great place to do this, and my favorite place to write is The Modern Grimpressions Desk on GentleNight.
You can further enhance the library feel of a writing space by adding The Tower of Tomes from Tell-Tale Arts, which displays all the books your Sims are reading. There are also That's So Crow bookends that you can add to surfaces in your room, such as Hey, This Shelf is a Ghost!, or The Macabre Writer's Quill. Wall-mounted shelf. Whether it's a book, an obituary, or your Sim's living will, what better place to write comfortably?
5
Best Hygiene Item: The Modern Grimpressions Bath By GentleNight
Who doesn't love a luxurious bath in a gorgeous, spacious clawfoot bathtub? Now your Sims can live that life with the addition of GentleNight's The Modern Grimpressions Bath. Although the Build/Buy mode description suggests otherwise, I'd like to indulge in some self-care in this tub, especially with some tessellation candles burning near The Modern Grimpressions Pedestal by GentleNight.

How about making this sad pack even more sentimental?
If your Sims' family has a lot of cash, they can even create a stunning bathroom with a freestanding shower using GentleNight's Modern Grimpressions Shower, as both the tub and shower come in the same 13 colors.
The Modern Grimpressions Bathroom Shelves from GentleNight will help you tie your room together!

Best Home Decor: Ravenwood's Pride Tarot Prints
If you're a big collector when you play The Sims 4, Tarot Card Collecting is definitely for you! There are 26 Tarot cards to collect through a variety of activities that allow you to explore the breadth of the Life & Death expansion pack. Check out the tarot books in each of Ravenwood's three neighborhoods to learn more about the tarot deck and who the current members of The Order of Lenore are.
For Sims who are most passionate about these collections, or who are just looking for some cool wall art, check out Ravenwood's Pride Tarot Prints. Available in 28 patterns, including all 26 Tarot cards and some more typical Tarot themed art. you don't have Completing your Tarot card collection from the Life & Death expansion will require some fun side adventures to help you acclimate to the pack's new additions!

Relentless Standard Ascendant Raven
Between the different expansion packs (e.g. Cats & Dogs, Horse Ranch, etc.), there are already several different types of pets your Sims can have. But if you want to keep the creepy vibe going with less maintenance, get Sims a Grim. A standard Ascension hoodie to keep around the house.
Place them anywhere in your Sims' home and check on them often, feed them, and bond with them through social activities. If you know what's good for you, encourage kind social interactions. And who knows? If you feed your pet crow, clean its perch, give it gifts, and talk to it often, you may receive some nice little trinkets as gifts from your pet crow.
Ravens purchased from Mysterious Merchants do not require the traditional level of care that Ravens in Build/Buy mode do. Waylon sells crows for slightly more money than a regular crow, but they don't need to be perched or hungry. I'm just here to be a friend.
2
New grave marker
Death is an inevitable part of life. When the time comes for your Sim to leave for the afterlife, they will leave behind one of two types of remains. If the death occurred outdoors, you will most commonly see a tombstone, or if the death occurred inside, you will see an urn. These options used to be standard, but the Life and Death expansion adds a ton of new options for your Sims to leave behind.
Even before you consider all the unique new tombstones and urns to help your Occult Sims remember their special abilities after death, you'll find plenty of new options for tombstones and urns in Build/Purchase. You can leave your Sims' remains in a variety of different types of cemeteries or have them interred in one of the local crypts. Olive Specter's graveyard is already large enough. Is there one more set of human remains ahead?
1
Funeral supplies
No one wants to say goodbye to their loved ones, but when it's time to say goodbye, you'll want to send them off with a loving bang. The new Funeral Social Event brings everyone together to celebrate the life of your Sim who has passed away, and even recognizes your Sim's ghost if they remain on Earth!
We have several casket options that can be placed for your ceremony and two different Memorial Ensemble tables that can be used for indoor and outdoor funerals. You can customize the colors and decorations of your memorial table, and even add a portrait of your deceased Sim to further personalize your final event.
There are several commemorative display options available, either pre-made or fully customizable. If you would like to add more personal items, there is an empty display table available for purchase in Craft/Purchase. Pre-made tables feature things like scented incense burners or ethereal mystery flowers, each of which comes in a variety of colors to bring your departed Sim's personality with them as they bid farewell. .
