Second Subnautica 2 Update May 2026 Brings 11 Changes to the Game
The game's second post-launch update, released on May 22, is also the largest by a significant margin, with an 11-item changelog that is 175% longer than the patch notes attached to Hotfix 1. More items will be added in the late May 2026 build. Subnautica 2 Deploys silver resources in early game areas while expanding late game areas through additional Troilite sources. This update also introduces some fauna AI tweaks and bug fixes, while removing two crash triggers, improving performance on Epic graphics settings, and more.
