portion ARC Raiders On PC, you've been known to bypass the game's camera limitations by editing one hidden configuration setting, giving you a much wider field of view and the huge benefits that come with it. This exploit appears to have been unintentionally activated recently. ARC Raiders It's a patch, but it looks like developer Embark Studios has already applied it.
Like other remote popular multiplayer games ARC Raiders Since launch, there have been issues with scammers. Over time, many of these problems are caused by paid trainers that malicious actors sell to third-party sites, allowing other malicious actors to gain various unfair advantages. Sometimes, something much less planned comes to fruition, allowing an opportunist to take advantage. In the latest example of the latter, a player recently adjusted some FOV settings in an unintended way.

Recently discovered ARC Raiders exploit stupid FOV.
In the past few days up to January 10, there have been reports of: ARC Raiders Players have come online looking for ways to change the game's perspective. The story became so widespread that clearly cheating individuals with incredibly wide FOVs were sometimes streaming their exploits on Twitch. Based on the VOD reviewed by Game Rant, ARC Raiders' The recently introduced Stella Montis was one of the maps most affected by cheaters earlier this month. This is not because the exploit was harder to replicate at other levels. Perhaps the over-representation of Stella Montis among maps favored by FOV cheaters probably has something to do with it being designed specifically with frequent PvP in mind, making any kind of advantage, fair or not, potentially much more profitable.
Embark has reportedly already performed a modified ARC Raiders FOV exploit.
According to an official notice posted to the game's Discord server on Saturday, Embark has already found a way to fight. ARC Raiders We've been seeing scammers using this particular technique since January 10th, a little over a day after knowledge of it became widespread. Studio representatives suggested that the issue was caused by inadvertently activating the so-called “NewConsole” command in the PC version of the game, resulting in the ability to change the field of view. “This feature was never intended for players,” the official wrote. While Embark is patching the specific method of editing the FOV, developers are currently monitoring telemetry data and other sources of information for related attacks that may have slipped through the cracks.
FOV adjustment was just one of many ways that console commands could give players an unfair advantage if they knew what they were doing. Unreal Engine 5's very basic toolset lets you utilize the console to disable individual visual effects like shadows, dust, and fog, all of which improve visibility, giving you a noticeable edge in shooters, extractions, and more. In this case, activating the console is said to be as simple as editing a configuration file on your PC. This is not uncommon, but is usually easily preventable. That's because Unreal Engine 5 gives developers the option to easily disable console access in their game builds. Although this is usually implemented in ARC Raiders I updated and it looks like that step is missing from the latest patch.
This feature is not intended for players.
It's unclear how many players were directly affected. ARC Raiders Scammers exploiting this particular oversight. On the one hand, the fact that this exploit has become widespread enough to appear on Twitch suggests that it has been active for some time. On the other hand, given the widespread cheating problem in games, it is difficult, if not impossible, to distinguish this particular attack from others that use publicly available data. As for Embark Studios, the developer is reportedly still reimbursing players for items lost in matches involving confirmed cheaters. However, these rewards appear to be inconsistent and depend on the studio's ability to identify wrongdoers after the fact.
