Build a base and survive

After the tutorial you are free to do whatever you want. Now it's time to find the perfect place to build your base. In my personal opinion, the best place is next to the only pond on the island. The most valuable ingredients are at hand, and water is in constant supply.

Use the hoe to create a farm and plant cotton and berry seeds. Equip the Build-Hammer and create a base for your bed so you can sleep at night and be protected from thunderstorms. You can also research and craft chests later to store additional items.

Continue researching and unlocking new recipes

The next step is to continue collecting materials to unlock the second level of research. Requires Build-Hammer and Beeswax. The latter can be obtained from a beehive and can be crafted using 15 wood and 5 sticks. Fortunately, players don't have to search for the bees that naturally enter the hive. Producing wax takes time, so take care of your farm or explore the island in the meantime.

Once you unlock Tier 2, you will have more useful stations and items, such as a map for better navigation, a furnace to create advanced materials, and a water bottle to store water.

Discover iron ore and build an airship

One of the most essential materials you will come across is iron. Mine the iron ore to the south of the pond to obtain infinite ore, then throw it into the furnace to obtain iron ingots. To unlock more crafting recipes, unlock research level 3 with a single iron bar.
