SILKSONG will move to Metroid's lifetime sales or series.

Hollow Knight: Silksong will not only be actually coming, but will be here for a little over a week. The sequel will sell millions more than the original. If it gets closer to achieving, the lifetime sales of the HOLLOW KNIGHT series will move beyond the combined sales of all Metroid games.

Hollow Knight and Metroid are Metroidvanias named after the name of the Samus -led Nintendo flagship series. However, as the Game Business's Christopher Dring emphasized, if Silksong performs well in the front of sales, this series will sell more copies than all games of the Metroid franchise. So far, there are 17 metroid games and two holy night games.

The Cherry team recently told Bloomberg that it was the original Hollow Knight sold 15 million copies. When more people flocked to OG after last week's Silksong News, I think the numbers have risen again since the number cited the number. In contrast, the best -selling Metroid game is Metroid Dread, and the first game of the series has risen to 3 million.

The original Metroid Prime and the first Metroid game, which were released in NES in 1986, ranked second and third place in the north of 2 million copies, respectively, and only 1.4 million copies of FANTASTIC SUPER METROID, one of the best games created by many people. There is a hope for Metroid about the same feeling as a battle to be defeated in the match against Hollow Knight and is provided in the form of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The long -awaited Metroid game will have to be released at any time, and you will think that it will be sold quite well due to the expectation. Perhaps it would be better than the fear of Metroid, but it's probably not close to the number of HOLLOW KNIGHT.
