This is a full-fledged Silent Hill renaissance, as not only did they release the Silent Hill 2 remake last year, but they also released a new entry this year, Silent Hill f, and the Bloober team has started work on a remake of the first Silent Hill. As we said, Renaissance.
That said, one of the things SH fans have been waiting for is whether Born from a Wish, a side story that was offered in later re-releases of the game, will appear in the Silent Hill 2 remake. Coincidentally, during Silent Hill 2's stream, Gunnarsdóttir was asked several times in the chat about Born from a Wish, and she said:
I will not be presenting on Born from a Wish.
I was waiting for Konami to say something. I even asked Bloober (the team) what he had to say, but nothing was recorded on Born from a Wish. I'm really sorry.
I don't know anything else. I know I haven't recorded any material for that. sorry.

“Most contracts don’t allow her to talk about it,” one hopeful commenter wrote on the Silent Hill subreddit after hearing this news. Others felt the same way, believing that she was part of the NDA and could not share details about its existence.
Of course, there's also the possibility that she didn't and would have been completely transparent with her fans. Either way, Gunnarsdóttir hasn't made the same move as August's Mafia: The Old Country voice actor has made clear that he's already working on a new game.
