Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Makes Players Watch NPC Memories When They Die
A streamer demonstrates a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod that plays back NPCs' memories when they die, with surprisingly funny results.
Modder Turns Jack into a Sled Dog
Blurbs, a well-known modder, has shared another hilarious and bizarre creation. The idea started out pretty innocently, with Blurbs tethering a bunch of horses and other animals to a boat, which Arthur sat in. While trying to decide how to go faster, Blurbs wondered aloud what the fastest land animal was, only for a viewer to suggest the child Jack Marston, which the modder cracked up over. Blurbs nevertheless tried out the idea, with hilarious results. Arthur slides along his boat as over half a dozen Jack Marstons run ahead, pulling it along. The sequence starts at about 2:20 in the original video.

To make matters even sillier, eventually one of the instances of Jack gets stuck on the front of the boat, and it only got worse for him from there. The child ends up tumbling head over heels on loop beside Arthur as the remainder of the Jacks run ahead, dragging them both along with them. After taking some time to laugh about the situation, Blurbs eventually moved on, but it wasn't over for Jack just yet. After creating numerous funny mod experiments, including one that allowed Arthur to fly, he came up with the idea of Arthur being a snowboarder. After effectively fusing an actual board to Arthur's feet, Blurbs successfully slid Arthur down a snowy hillside, and then did a bunch of jumps and tricks. When he got tired of that, he replaced the board with Jack, saying that the mod was treading the line between whimsy and darkness.
Although Blurbs expressed that using Jack to pull a sled was an “intrusive thought,” this isn't the first time that the modder has changed Jack into something other than a normal little kid. Blurbs previously made waves when the modder converted young Jack Marston into a Tomahawk for Arthur to use. The result struck fellow RDR2 players as hilarious, as Jack successfully took out numerous opponents, got stuck to a tree, and ragdolled to the ground.

In another case of Red Dead Redemption 2 modding, Blurbs made every NPC in Red Dead Redemption 2 extremely drunk, leading to them staggering through cutscenes, falling off cliffs, and more. Jack wasn't left unscathed in this one either, with a brief clip showing him staggering along before falling flat on his face during a fishing trip. Time will tell what Blurbs and his audience dream up next for the game, and quite possibly, for Jack, too.
