For those who are not familiar, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy A third-person action game with physics-based psychic abilities. Players control government agent Nick Scryer, who awakens without memory before discovering powerful telekinesis, mind control, pyrokinesis, and other supernatural abilities. Players are thus encouraged and rewarded by throwing enemies into walls, throwing explosives across rooms, possessing opponents, and solving environmental puzzles with psychic abilities. Even now, the game is considered one of the most creative action games of the PS2 and Xbox era, and it still holds up today. In other words, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy PS Plus Premium is a really cool thing.

About the PS2 version on Metacritic Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy It received a generally favorable Metascore of 84 based on 46 critic reviews. Interestingly, the Xbox version scored 84 after 55 critic reviews, suggesting there is some consistency in the platform's performance and critics' thoughts. Meanwhile, Metacritic's user score is a slightly lower 7.0, but still a pretty good overall score. It will be interesting to see how it is received as a PS Plus premium game.
There's no word yet on what will be included in the July PS Plus Extra catalog, but at least from now until September, PS Plus has a pretty strong lineup. However, fans should be wary of a possible PS Plus price increase due to the industry's rapidly changing economics. In other words, definitely take advantage of PS Plus now.
