I like the idea of the new Pokemon Black Bolt & White Flare Set. Video Game Theme Pokemon TCG expansion is a good idea that you can't believe that it was not actually done before. All Unova Pokedex is not only included in each version of several versions, but also divided into two individual minisets. You can open all the black bolt packs and trade with the person who opened the white flare pack to find the missing Pokemon as in the game.

By number, the Black Bolt & White Flare is the most collected Pokemon card set. There are not only general or all cards for all Pokemon, but also rare or special illustrations for all Pokemon, Pokeball and MasterBall parallel sets and hologram energy cards for all Pokemon, and replace new monochrome rare liti, a full art card and a black white card. If you like cracking packs, this set will explode. But good luck if you want to complete the UNOVA forkdex.
And you thought it was difficult to have shiny hunting
The amount of unique cards in the Black Bolt & White Flare provides an exciting experience for all packs. This is a good thing considering that this is a special collection. Therefore, you can only find premium products and booster bundles instead of standard booster boxes and hanger packs. I opened 33 packs, almost all black bolts and ended with 29 cards better than rare. It is almost one hit in all packs.
Still, many packs have hit more than once. In one pack, I picked a common master ball from the first reverse slot alone. It is a single pack and four hits. This year's prism evolution was the first set possible, but I have never seen such a pack. It happened twice in my black bolts and white flare packs.
Having a variety of diversity suggests some problems. There are three ways to access this set, and the experience will vary greatly depending on one way. If you want to see the pack and get it, you can have a good time. I did not pull one illustration rare (Zekrom EX), black white rare (ZEKROM EX), four full art (including Zekrom EX), and five all cards (ZEKROM EX). two). I also pulled out all HOLO energy except six illustrations Rares, two master ball holos, 14 Pokeball Holos and Fire. I like unova, but my favorite person was a very satisfactory transport.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a specific Pokemon, you will have a much harder time. Even if Pokedex is divided into half between the sets, each set still has 79 pictures and another 6 special illustration Rare Pokemon. Melotta's favorite Pokemon is looking for almost 100 different chase cards, regular ex, full art and special illustration. If you are not out, it is rarely possible to pull all Zekrom cards in the set. If you have a hard target of your favorite Unova-Mon, buy a single.
If you are a completeist who wants to write the entire unova Pokedex, I do not know about it. Perhaps it is a good opportunity to focus on treating the picture as a sparkling Pokemon and collecting a single version of the 156 Pokemon, but considering all parallel sets and Chase cards, there are over 800 unique cards in the Black Bolt & White Flare. If this is in the early 2000s, I will cause an explosion to trade in the playground, but it is disappointing to invest a lot in this set in the way the only market and reseller economy works.

Like all special collections, the Black Bolt & White Flare is provided in a variety of product types. I'm a 9 -pack black bolt elite trainer box, 6 pack black bolt booster bundle, 5 pack white flare binder collection, 3 pack black bolt technology sticker collection, 4 pack Victini illustration collection (2 packs of each), 4 pack poster collection (2 packs each), a total of 33 packs (2 each Pack mini teen) 23 black bolts and 10 white flare.
My favorite product so far is Victini Illustration Collection. You can get two packs of cards and two packs of cards, such as beautiful special illustration Victini promotion cards, and two sets of each set. The only other Victini in the set is a rare rare of black bolts and a monochromatic red bwr victini of two sets, so I think it's an essential item considering how important Victini is for black and white. I also like the binder collection a lot. The 396 slot binder has a thick plastic cover to maintain safety. Unfortunately, do not take your eyes off because there was a crack in the spine in the box.
The other products do not give me a deep impression. It goes back for a few years to find a set like a champion's way, featuring a collection box with a pin that represents each gym in Gala. Except for the most premium collection set, the pin collection seems to have disappeared. We no longer get a doll, and both of these types of boxes were very widespread.
The sticker is trash and will come from a wrinkle box. The poster is quite big, but it will be much cooler if you feature the art of a special illustration card, not a promotional box art. Booster bundles and ETBs offer the best value, but it's better to have more premium items. This set was easy to feature UNOVA's gym badge pins.
Everything considered, this is a good expansion that a special collection set expects. Unova would not have been my first choice (in fact, it is my last Choosing), but I'm still satisfied with the entire execution. When you look at this set, it is difficult to set up ongoing problems with resellers and product availability. In the perfect world, the Black Bolt & White Flare is easy to get, and we will all trade Black Bolt cards for friends' White Flare card. Unfortunately, it is not true. If this set is hard to get enough to be expected, a huge amount of hit is not really important.
