GOG GOG has added four nostalgic '90s games to its archive, and you can claim them all for free until May 8, 2026. GOG is continuing its preservation efforts and, as part of an ongoing program, is collaborating with developer xLand, a former Polish studio, to modernize and protect cult-favorite classic games.
The new generation of gamers probably won't know much about xLand unless they're really interested in DOS era games. The company is considered one of Poland's most influential developers, with several games finding audiences beyond Poland and in places like the United States. One of those games is Electro Manalso called electric body In some regions, it's currently part of GOG's Free Claim promotion.
Steam users can claim the 2025 horror game for free and keep it forever
Steam's latest giveaway for its Free-to-Keep promotion is a 2025 horror game that has received solid, mostly positive reviews on the platform.
GOG is now offering four nostalgic games.
To celebrate the addition of xLand games to GOG, the company has launched a limited-time promotion until May 8, 2026. Players will receive four titles for free. The lineup includes: robo And its improved version, Robo's Adventuretogether heart light And the previously mentioned Electro Man. The first three are classic puzzle games known for their quirky level design and adorable retro visuals. meantime, Electro Man is an action platformer that has maintained a loyal cult following to this day.
The source code for most xLand titles has been available online for quite some time. However, running them on modern PCs often requires technical know-how. There is also a fan-made browser version. Electro Man Players looking for nostalgia can try it for free. Nonetheless, GOG's current programs and promotions make these titles much more accessible and compatible on modern devices, which is great news for fans of '90s games.
