It seems that no one is safe from the numerous leaks that have been plaguing the industry recently. Game Freak's massive leak revealed all kinds of details that Pokemon fans wanted to know, and some they didn't.

What's next for Nintendo after the Pokemon leak?
Nintendo has resorted to legal retaliation in cases like this before, and Pokemon feels like the biggest leak so far.
We're now starting to see leaks about Nintendo Switch Online playtests that very few exclusive people had access to. While it's nowhere near the scale of the Game Freak leak, it does provide a glimpse into what Nintendo is working on, and fans have speculated that it could be anything from a metaverse, an MMO, or even a Strands game.
Nintendo appears to be testing the capabilities of social simulations.
The leak occurred shortly after the playtest went online. And despite asking players not to share details, Nintendo should have known this was inevitable. Based on what some players have shared, it appears that Nintendo is testing a feature for a large-scale online game similar to an MMO. However, the variety of features suggests that, like any Strands game, there will be a lot of cooperation between players.
Players must develop the entire planet. Each player will receive a beacon, which when placed will mark their safe zone. They can interact with objects and resources in that area as they wish. Other players cannot edit content within your beacon and vice versa. Anything outside the beacon is fair game. The goal appears to be to develop the entire planet.
There is also a social hub for players, now known as Dev Core. Here, players can interact with others, level up, and obtain items needed for the game. There are also details about the level up system and reward system based on progress.
User generated content also plays an important role in this game. You can create and showcase different types of content, but it's currently unclear what that means. Perhaps a level like In Mario Maker or an island like Animal Crossing.
As expected, Nintendo is already working hard to crack down on these leaks, with leaked images starting to disappear from Twitter. The prospects for Nintendo social simulations look very exciting. Especially since companies have traditionally stayed away from it or have made their online components quite complex.
