The much-needed update comes more than a year after the second season concluded. Following the announcement, fans can finally relax and focus on what the movie will cover. One of the things they should look forward to is the introduction of new, powerful characters. Jinwoo is already so overpowered that the writers have to double the effort to make the other characters stronger in some way. 'Solo Leveling Beyond the System', which was unveiled at Anime Expo 2026 on July 3, 2026, will give fans a rare opportunity to meet a character who can push Sung Jin-woo.

Solo Leveling: Beyond The System will likely apply the Azin Guild Arc and Double Dungeon Arc. Both take place at some point after the Jeju Island incident. The Architect does not appear in the Ajin Guild section, but appears in the Double Dungeon section. He is responsible for creating the system, so he can answer any questions Jinwoo might have. But architects don't give answers that easily. Instead, he will ask Jinwoo to fight the stone statues in the room.

For most people, that would be a big question. Especially since the same statue almost killed Jin-Woo in their previous encounter. In fact, many fans speculated what would have happened if Thomas Andre had gone to Jeju Island to exterminate ants. Given his insane powers, it would have been a bloodbath. Thomas Andre probably didn't need any kind of backup. He could have just gone in and wiped out all the ants, including Beru.

He beat Hwang Dong-su by less than an inch, but Thomas Andre arrived before the hero could finish him.

Thomas Andre asked Jin-Woo to step aside and leave Hwang Woo-Seok to himself. However, Jinwoo refused, which led to an all-out war between the two strongest hunters in the world. Surprisingly, Jinwoo dominated the fight from the beginning. Thomas Andre even used reinforcement measures to take down Jinwoo, but it was no use. The latter was too powerful for him and he crushed Thomas Andre without trying too hard.
