The world of ninjas is ruthless. This means that even young children are not safe. in narutoThere were several wars that resulted in much bloodshed. Many characters were terminated prematurely for this reason. If there was no war, other things would happen, such as village politics.
Naruto: 29 Best Villains, Ranked
From rogue ninjas to terrorists and even alien creatures, Naruto's best villains are in a league of their own.
For example, the Uchiha clan almost ceased to exist because few villagers felt unsafe in their presence. There are countless other examples of specific Naruto characters coming to an untimely end.
Shisui Uchiha
Shisui was one of the few Uchiha to break the Curse of Hatred. Shisui, who had been exposed to numerous wars, despised fighting. He always looked for the least violent way to solve a problem. As news spread that the Uchiha couple might appear, Shisui had a long conversation with Hiruzen and the village elders.
Shisui wanted to stop the coup with Kotoamatsukami, a powerful Genjutsu that affects the target's perception to the point where they are unable to separate reality from lies. Everything would have been easily resolved if Shisui had used that ability, but Danzo decided not to do so. So he attacked Shisui, stole his eyes, and poisoned him. This left Shisui with no other choice but to turn his attention to Itachi. Afterwards, Shisui committed suicide. A kind person like him certainly deserved a much better ending.
Jiraiya
Jiraiya was a member of the Legendary Sannin. Like the other three, he became famous for his achievements in the Second Ninja War. However, unlike his fellow Sannin members, Jiraiya continued to work for Hidden Leaf. He completed hundreds of missions for the good of the village.
Naruto: Age, height, birthday of all main characters
The protagonist of Naruto is one of the most iconic characters in anime. Now let’s take a look at their birthday, height, and age.
Even in the final mission, Jiraiya sent hints about Pain's power to help Naruto and the villagers deal with their enemies. It's also worth noting that Jiraiya could have run away from Hidden Rain, but chose to stay behind. It's hard to argue against his decision, but at the same time it would have made sense for him to come back and have a better ending.
Neji Hyuga
Neji was a prodigy of the Hyuga clan who mastered the Byakugan while still a gennin. Kekkei Genkai allowed Neji to see his enemies' chakra points and then attack them with Gentle Fist, rendering them unable to use chakra-based techniques. Neji also created a special move to conceal the Byakugan's weakness.

Needless to say, Neji had a lot of potential and even achieved some of it by becoming a Jonin. Unfortunately, his trip is interrupted by Kishimoto, who decides to kill Hyuga for a rather absurd reason. Neji was forced to sacrifice himself to further strengthen Naruto and Hinata's relationship. Overall, this was an odd decision because the author could have achieved the desired effect if he had chosen a different approach.
Sakumo Hatake
Sakumo Hatake is a legendary Jonin from Hidden Leaf. He was an incredible warrior, and his skills earned him the nickname “Leaf's White Fang.” Other villagers recognized Sakumo immediately by his hair and would often run away from him.
In fact, Sakumo's name is said to carry the same weight as that of the legendary Sannin. But all of his fame and fame came crashing down as he prioritized saving his comrades over completing his mission. His decision did not sit well with the villagers, who shunned him. This caused Sakumo to fall into a deep depression and ultimately lead to his death. A character with those skills certainly deserves to live longer and spend more time with his son.
Itachi Uchiha
Itachi is arguably the greatest prodigy to come out of the Uchiha clan. Itachi showed a high level of understanding from an early age. Because he knew the destructive consequences of war, he idolized Shisui, who held the same beliefs.
Unfortunately, Itachi's life was completely ruined by Danzo. Danzo forced him to murder the entire Uchiha clan. Itachi had no choice but to bear that burden, and lived his entire life as an outlaw. He got a chance to sort things out with Sasuke, but that doesn't make his end any less sad.
Nawaki Senju
Senju Nawaki is the grandson of the legendary Senju Hashirama. Naturally, I had high expectations that he would be at least as tall as his grandfather. Nawaki clearly had the passion to reach new levels, but Kishimoto had other plans for him.
During the Third Ninja War, Nawaki was killed by an explosive tag. What's shocking is that almost zero characters died from the impact of the exploding tag, so it was a baffling decision to have the Grand Hashirama's grandson die from it. If Nawaki were alive, he could have become a great ninja who would carry on the name of the Senju clan.
