especially:

  • Before entering the Little & Big basement, grab both blueprints from the open area.

  • Fall off the ledge and collect the blueprints on the typewriter before starting the first wave.

  • Don't fall next to the typewriter after the first wave until you've picked up both collectibles in the area.

Following this order will prevent you from missing items or having to reload previous saves.

Jack Squat Exercises (All Office Relics Collection)

It's easy to miss collectibles if you follow the objective marker too quickly. Follow the steps below to complete a jack squat without missing a single item. If you need help with other tasks, see 100%. Mouse PI rental Practice hub.

take a break

Once you start Jack Squat, you won't be able to return to the PI Office area, so save before anything. Then go to Jack's office bedroom and interact with the bed.

Find out what's happening and get your stash from Little & Big

Go to the main gate and meet John. Go down the stairs and through the door, which will take you to an area filled with enemies. This is a great place to stock up on ammo, armor, and health, and be sure to do so before double jumping in the arena and moving on to the next typewriter.

Now block the door and crouch under the wooden planks that fall through the floor. You will see a safe before it falls. But it only contains some cash. So don't worry about opening it unless you really need the money.

If you fall, catch the pepper. Temporary buffs make it much easier to kill enemies you encounter. Then, head to the southwest corner of the area to find the blueprints pinned to Tammy's bearing. Catch it as soon as you drop itThis is because once you enter the Little & Big basement, you will not be able to return to this area.

Blueprint (Little & Big Front Room)

Now follow your detective's brush to places big and small and defeat the enemies within. Then go into the small room in the northwest corner to see another blueprint. As with the previous blueprint, it is inaccessible once you enter the bar's basement, so be sure to obtain it before proceeding.

Once you have both blueprints, you're ready to head into the basement and can use the typewriter to quickly save them.

Escape through John's emergency warp pipe and run for your life

Flip the switch on the wall to the left of the typewriter to reveal a warp pipe. Before going in, take the armor from the locker next to the pipe. You might find it useful in the next section.

Once you go through the warp pipe, there is a safe on your right. However, it doesn't matter if you open it since you'll only be storing some cash.

Blueprint (basement typewriter room)

Now follow the detective's brush through the enemy-filled basement and reach the room with the typewriter. A circuit diagram is pinned to the wall beyond the typewriter. Grab this before you fall off the cliff.Doing so will execute the escape sequence and prevent you from returning.

Jump off the cliff and use the right crouch, grapple tail, and double jump to outwit the massive waves. In the room past the waves, use the wall jump and trampoline on the wall to climb onto the scaffolding and follow the path to the next typewriter. Don't drop the shelf next to the typewriter just yet. There are two collectibles, so you'll need to get them first.

Comics (near the typewriter palette)

The first is a comic book placed on a palette right in front of the typewriter. It's easy to miss it if you pass by the typewriter.Because it is partially hidden by bricks.

Schematic (scaffolding safety across gaps)

The second is a Schematic on the scaffolding across from the shelf. Double jump and use Tail-a-Choppa to reach the scaffolding. Be very careful when doing this jump. This is because if you miss a jump you'll have to reload your previous save file to try again.

After collecting the blueprints and comic books, head down to the ground and jump over the waves once again. Don't worry about dealing with enemies along this path. Move as fast as you can and use Tail-a-Choppa to get a boost from the fans at the end. Then save on the typewriter and go into the next room to start the fight with Hitman.

How to beat an assassin

This fight plays out very similarly to the boss fight at the end of the Secret Show mission, with the Hitman quickly teleporting between locations. Try to stay near the stairs on the east side of the room to make it easier to track the Hitman's teleportation pattern.

When he appears, shoot him with the Devarnisher. This weapon deals damage over time and a few hits with the Devarnisher are enough to take down a Hitman, making it a great option against fast-moving enemies that are difficult to track consistently.

Reach Wanda

Once the Hitman is defeated, climb the ladder on the west side of the arena and interact with Jack's car to complete the Jack Squat.

Easy to miss collectibles and common mistakes

The most commonly missed collectibles in Jack Squat occur at key transition points in the game from which there is no return.

  1. Once you enter the Little & Big basement, you will not be able to access the open area Schematics.

  2. If the second basement typewriter explodes and then falls from the ledge, an escape sequence will be triggered and access to that room will be blocked.

  3. If you advance past the typewriter after the second wave, you will miss both collectibles in the area.
