Marvel Rivals launch roster includes Moon Knight

Marvel Rivals has just confirmed another addition to its launch roster: Moon Knight. This is confirmed by a new trailer, showing Moon Knight in action.

Naturally, Moon Knight is a duelist, so he focuses on dealing damage. A quick look at his gameplay in the announcement trailer shows that. Even better, the trailer suggests it won't be long before we get to play as Moon Knight. Because Moon Knight will be joining the game from the start when it launches on December 6th.

It's no surprise that Moon Knight will be included in the game from launch. He was teased at the end of the Psylocke character trailer, and it was suggested he would join the roster at some point. Then, in an interview with TheGamer, developer Marvel Rivals said there would be more additions to the roster at launch, which pretty much confirmed that Moon Knight will be playable in December.

Moon Knight joins other new characters at launch: Psylocke, Captain America, and The Winter Soldier. It's unclear whether more will be confirmed ahead of next month's launch. This is very possible, especially since executive producer Danny Koo has previously said that no character from the Marvel comics can be left out when it comes to inclusion in Marvel Rivals.

The official launch of Marvel Rivals on December 6 follows a successful beta period this summer. It comes at an interesting time for the hero shooter genre, as it was originally competing with Concord but crashed and burned not long after its release. Marvel Rival developers have been adamant that this will not be a repeat of Concord, citing positive player feedback.

Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 third-person shooter featuring teams of comic book heroes and villains. Includes a variety of destructible maps from across the Marvel universe, with new content added regularly.
