Hytale's cancellation disappointed many fans in the upcoming game. Hytale and developer Hypixel Games began on a popular hypixel minecraft server, a mini -game server within Minecraft.
Hytale will be the MMO style MINECRAFT in the MMO style, and it was clearly potential in the project as Riot Games acquired the studio in 2020. Following the cancellation of Hytale, many fans immediately condemned Riot for not supporting the project.
It is a response to understand. We have seen numerous cases of publishers and/or companies that buy large studios. It can give unreasonable demands to large studios.
Leadership failure
This is not a fair brush with RIOT because all indie developers who worked with Riot Forge used the relationship between Riot and the studio for a very free relationship. According to Devslashnull, the previous IT lead in Hypixel Studios, this is also the case for Hytale.

Then the answer asked if it was a riot that ruined high -tails with “their corporate greed.”

Riot Games now owns a hytale IP, but Live Service has focused on working as a key title, League of Legends and purposes since it acquired Hypixel Games in 2020. The revival of the hytale under RIOT said, “The team that had its original vision and value was sadly agreeing with the team that was worth yesterday.
It's unfortunate, but this can be the end of the path of hytale. At least Hypixel is not affected because it is a separate entity from the Hypixel game.
