ARK: Survival Ascended is an open world survival crafting game with tremendous freedom. The best thing about this game is that you not only have the freedom to decide where you want to go on the map, but you also know exactly what the screen will look like while you play. Unfortunately, there are quite a few settings in this game that aren't readily available.
For example, it's common to see tons of clouds and fog blocking your path when you could really use the extra visibility. In these cases, you will need to follow a specific method to turn off these settings, which may make some people think it's cheating, but it makes a huge difference to your experience.
How to Turn Off Clouds and Fog on PC
Turning off clouds and fog on PC is relatively easy, as it only requires using console commands. Start by pressing the “~” button on your keyboard. (without holding down the Shift key). A black dialog box will then appear at the bottom where you can enter commands. Here are the commands to use and their functions:
